How does it work?

Each share will cost £1 per month which is to be paid annually by cheque (£12 per share per year.

There will be two draws per subscription year, the first on 12th December 2008 and the second on 26th June 2009.

The prizes for each draw will be as follows:

First prize = £100
Second prize = £50
2 x Third prizes = £25 each

The above prizes are based on 100 shares being sold before 1st December 2008.

Shares will be numbered 1-100. You may choose your share number or a number can be picked for you at random (please check with Sara that your chosen number is still available).

If you would like to buy a share (or even a few shares) please e-mail Sara at rdr.fundraising@tesco.net and she will email an application form to you. Please complete the application form and return with your cheque to the return address provided.

1. The lotto club will be called Henry’s Hot 100 Lotto. Anyone wishing to support Rochdale Dog Rescue may purchase shares.
2. All members of the lotto must be over the age of 16.
3. The objective of the Lotto is to raise funds for Rochdale Dog Rescue.
4. The annual subscription per share will be £12 payable by cheque to RDRFA. There will be no limit to the number of shares held by an individual.
5. There will be two draws in any subscription year. The prizes for each draw will be as follows:
1st Prize £100
2nd Prize £50
3rd Prize £25 (2 seperate prizes of £25 each
The value of prizes is based on selling 100 shares before the 1st December 2008. If 100 shares are not sold by the cut-off date rule 8 will apply. Prizes will be paid by cheque and sent to the winners by post.
6. The results of each draw will be posted here on the website.
7. Subscriptions must be paid by 1st December 2008 to be included in the first lottery draw, which will be held on 12th December 2008. Subscriptions received after this date will not be included in the December 2008 draw but will be included in the 26th June 2009 draw and the following December draw.
8. In the event of there being an insufficient number of shares sold the organiser, at her discretion, reserves the right to reduce the prizes pro-rata to the number of shares sold.
9. All profits from Henry’s Hot 100 Lotto will be paid to Rochdale Dog Rescue.
10. The organiser may, without giving reason or notice, decline to accept an application, cancel an existing subscription or terminate or suspend the Lotto scheme. The organiser may also amend or update these rules at any time. Shareholders will be notified of any rule changes by email.
11. The decisions of the organiser are final and binding.
