Kaiser's Appeal

Kaiser Needs a Foster or Permanent Home

Image: KaiserPlease meet Kaiser, a gorgeous Rottweiler who has now come into the care of Rochdale Dog Rescue from a stray dog kennels where he was facing being put to sleep.

Poor Kaiser and his dad had faced a sad change in circumstances and suddenly found themselves having to sleep in a car as they had no where to go. Sadly and I am sure with great upset Kaiser had to be signed over to the kennels as he just had no where to stay.

Kaiser is a lovely steady rottie gentleman who is now in our emergency boarding care. Everyone loves him at the kennels and he is having the best of care - but the poor chap is really down and missing his home.

He recently became poorly and went to the vets where he was not diagnosed with anything specific but he soon became better under their attention and came back to the kennels. Unfortunately once back at kennels he became very shut down again and we can only conclude that poor lad is sad and depressed.

Kaiser loves fuss, cuddles and attention (he sometimes thinks he is a lap dog but is very gentle) and being with his human friends. He really is a lovely well behaved dog. He is really unhappy and miserable in kennels and is not even eating - this morning he even refused some lovely hand cooked food.

He is an older boy who would love nothing more than a family to love and cherish him again and bring him back to happiness. As such we are looking for that special foster / permanent foster home for him (or even a permanent home!).

He isn't keen on all dogs but does seem to like the girls so we would prefer such a home where he could be the only dog or with a female dog provided introductions went well. Because he loves company we would like a home where someone will be around for him for at least part of the day.

We would also be happy for Kaiser to go into the care of one of the special rescues we work with who would be able to place him with one of their foster carers.

We do require that any children in the home are aged 7 or over.

If you think you could help the lovely Kaiser please Contact Us with some details or call Emma on 07799 777422.
