On this page you will find details of dogs in rescues in Scotland and the North of England. We seek spaces for dogs that have completed their 7 days in the pound, and utilising volunteer drivers we move them to these rehoming centres. Once there the dogs are assessed, vaccinated, neutered or spayed, microchipped and wormed. Once fully assessed they are ready for rehoming.

This is SAXON, a GSD Cross, male, approximately 2-3 years old. Black, tan and cream in colour with a smooth coat. He is a friendly and steady chap!
This is BESS, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 2 years old. Black in colour with white markings and smallish in size. She is a very friendly and very bouncy girl!
This is CLEO, a Cross breed, female, approximately 2-3 years old. Black with a tiny bit of white on her chest and small-medium in size. She is very friendly and quite bouncy. Gorgeous!
This is SASHA, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 2 years old. Brindle and white in colour and a small girl, who is very friendly and steady!
This is PUMPKIN, a JRT Cross, female, approximately 1-2 years old. Tan/Brown with black coming through. She is small and fat, awwww! She is very friendly and quite steady, but fast!
This is HONEY AKA NOODLES, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 2 years old. She is tan in colour with some black on her face and is a medium sized girl who is a very friendly lass and is good with other dogs!
This is WOLFE, a JRT/Corgi Cross, male, approximately 5 years old. Tri-coloured with a smooth coat. He has small legs and a long body with a bushy tail that curls over his back. He is a steady, very friendly chap who is good with other dogs!

This is TIA, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 3 years old. Tan in colour and small to medium size. She has been signed over to the 'pound' due to her owner having to go into hospital. She is house trained, good with children and other dogs. A very friendly girl who loves playing "tug o war", bless her!

This is DYLLAN, a Collie Cross, male, approximately 6 years old. Black and white in colour and a medium sized boy with a medium coat. He is a very friendly and steady lad. He was apparently abandoned when his owners moved, it appears that they left the poor chap behind!!
This is REG, a Jack Russell Terrier, male, approximately 11 years old. White and tan in colour with a smooth coat. He is very small in size and is a very friendly but a little nervous chap!
This is TROY, a GSD Cross, male, approximately 2-3 years old. Black and tan in colour. He has a standard coat and is a medium plus size. Troy is a friendly and steady chap who was dumped in a vets yard. He was a little timid at first but is now playful, he sits and shakes a paw, bless him!
This is FINN, a Terrier Type, male, approximately 3 years old. Black in colour with tan markings and a rough coat. He is a small boy who is very nervous but friendly and in need of a bath, bless him!!
This is POOCHIE, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 12 months old. Black and tan in colour and a medium size with long hair. She appears to be in an ok condition and is a very friendly girl.
This is ROSIE, a Labrador Cross, female, approximately 1-2 years old. Golden in colour and a medium sized girl. She is very friendly and very cute!

This is WILLIE, a Cross breed, male, approximately 3-4 years old. Tan in colour with white markings and a very friendly chap who is quite bouncy! He has apparently been roaming the streets for over a few weeks now, poor lad!

This is RANI, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 18 months old. Brindle in colour with a white chest and paws. She is small-medium in size and appears to be in a good condition. She is a very friendly loving girl and a cutie too!
This is PIXIE, a JRT, female, approximately 2 years old. Tri-coloured with a smooth coat. She is a small girl who is very friendly and bouncy!
This is LADDIE, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 12 months old. Tan with a white chest and a black muzzle. He has a smooth coat and is small-medium size. Laddie appears to be in quite a good condition and is a friendly and steady chap!

This is TRAVIS, a Mastiff Cross, male, approximately 10 months old. Black in colour with cream markings and medium sized. Travis is gorgeous, he is a very friendly bouncy boy!
This is MISCHIEF, a Patterdale Terrier, male, approximately 3 years old. Black in colour with a rough coat and a half docked tail. He is a very friendly, bouncy and confident boy!
This is BEAR, a Shepherd Cross, female, approximately 7 months old. Black in colour with a semi-long coat. She is a medium to large size and is used to living with children. She is a lovely friendly girl but is very very nervous, just look at that scared face, bless her!!
This is JULES, a JRT Cross, female, approximately 2 years old. White in colour with black patches and spots. She has quite long legs and is a very friendly and bouncy girl!

This is OZZY, a German Shepherd, male, approximately 4 years old. Black and tan in colour with a standard GSD coat. This poor chap was found one early morning by staff at a garden nursery, he was tied up to the gate and could possibly have been there all night! He is a little thin. A really friendly, bouncy and loving chap!
This is IZZY, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 12-18 months old. Black and tan in colour with a smooth coat. She is a small size and is a bit of a nervous girl but very friendly, bless her!!

This is MEGHAN, a Bull Mastiff, female, approximately 3-4 years old. Brindle in colour and medium-large in size. Meghan is a beautiful girl with gorgeous markings and a pretty face. She is also a very friendly girl!
This is MAJOR, a Boxer/Mastiff Cross, male, approximately 5 years old. Fawn with a black mask and white chest and paws. He is medium to large in size and appears to be in an ok condition. He is very friendly and quite steady. Everybody loves this gorgeous boy!
This is SHODA, a Bull Mastiff, female, approximately 5 years old. Fawn and cream in colour with a black mask. She is quite thin, bless her. She is a very friendly girl who is quite steady but has a very waggy bum!

This is TESS, a GSD Cross, female, approximately 16 months old. Black and tan in colour with a medium coat. She is a medium size and very friendly but quiet, bless her and she loves to be with other dogs. She had haematomas on both ears and was not in a brilliant condition, poor girl. She has had her operations and has bounced back! She is now a very happy girl, full of life and good with kids and dogs. She is now looking for a new special forever home!
This is STANTON, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 1-2 years old. Tan in colour with a bit of white on his chest, small in size and very very thin, bless him. He is lively but hungry, looking for food all the time, bless him!
This is NELSON, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 4-5 months old. Black and white in colour and smallish in size. He is a very friendly lad but nervous, bless him! He is looking very sorry for himself as this photo was taken just after he had been sick in the dog wardens van on the way to the 'pound' poor baby!!
