Dogs re-homed by Rochdale Dog Rescue

As rescue spaces become harder to find, and more dogs than ever needing the sanctuary of our emergency boarding once we have been able to assess, neuter, vaccinate, healthcheck and micro-chip the dogs in our care we will also consider re-homing them ourselves when the right family comes along.

Most of the dogs we help came to us via the Stray Dog Kennels and we are very pleased to say they are now safe and happy in their new homes...


This is DAISY, a Border Collie, female, born 4.3.18. She is black and white, she has a smooth coat and she is medium in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR with Billy. Daisy is a friendly girl who knows basic commands, is housetrained and she seems good with other dogs, but not cats..."I met Billy and Daisy today and I took them both out for a walk together. They were both very excited to begin and pulled, but both were manageable. After ten minutes Billy really calmed and didn't pull, Daisy did pull throughout the walk but she waited when told and happily walked next to Billy...They were both really good when passing other people and dogs and happily walked by some cows with no trouble." Ideally Daisy would like to be rehomed with another dog.




This is BILLY, a Border Collie, male, born 27.9.14. He is black and white, he has a semi coat and he is medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR with Daisy. Billy is a nice boy who knows basic commands, is housetrained and he seems good with other dogs, but not cats..."Billy can be a little aloof when he first meets you... A few encouraging words and nice treats soon won him round though...He's a very well mannered boy, he walks nicely, pulls a little if he gets a whiff of something interesting, knows how to sit and will give his paw when asked. He was happy to say hello to the few other dogs we met on our walk." Ideally Billy would like to be rehomed with another dog.




These are OLLY & HONEY: Olly is a Cocker Spaniel, male, 7 years old, blue roan in colour and smallish in size. he has cataracts and his vision is limited. Honey is a Cockerpoo, female, 8 years old, cream in colour and smallish in size. They have been signed over to the care of RDR and are currently in emergency foster with other dogs. "Olly and Honey are lovely friendly dogs. They have been fine with other dogs, all people they have met and settle well in the house. They love cuddles and affection and will make brilliant companions for someone who is around quite a bit. Honey is still very lively and while both love their walks, Honey is more energetic than Olly. Olly does have some cataracts on his eyes and his vision is limited, this being said he copes very well and it doesn’t affect his enthusiasm for his walks or his wonderful personality. Both dogs know basic commands and recall well. They travel fine and have slept ok at night."




These are HENRY & MR DARCY, Shih Tzus, brothers, born March 2011. They are tan brown and cream, they have curly coats and they are small in size. They have been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in their owners' circumstances and are currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. "They are super well mannered, clean in the home & not destructive - they can be left a few hours... They thoroughly enjoy their walks and love tummy rubs and treats. They travel well and get on fine with other dogs. Henry is a bit of a monkey for barking at cats so it’s probably for the best if they go to a cat free home. Darcy has been on some medication for a skin complaint- this only flared up when their routine changed...Darcy has no sign of any skin issues at the moment I and he is being checked over in two weeks. Whoever takes him will need to be aware that this may flare up if it’s seasonal or if he gets stressed. Henry and Darcy will need regular grooming and clipping every 8 weeks. Both boys are lovely little companions. They are a bonded pair who need to stay together."




This is LOLA, a Jack Russell Terrier, female, born 2nd October 2016. She is tri-coloured, she has a smooth coat and she is small in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Lola is a very friendly, happy and cuddly little girl who has been used to other dogs and horses..."Little Lola is a proper little jack - she’s small, cheeky and friendly - she’s a terrierist with my cats so a definite no with them. She is fine in a group of dogs but I have noticed she’s a bit bossy - it’s all bluster, no aggression shown but she just won’t stand for any messing. She is quite fond of Rosie who arrived on the same day. She has been clean and can be left for short periods & will settle fine. No noise at bedtime - she was happy to just go to bed when the lights went out. I’d say she would adapt to most households - she is young and adaptable- she enjoys pottering about checking what everyone is doing."




This is MINNIE, a Jack Russell Terrier, female, approximately 2-3 years old. She is tri-coloured, she has a smooth coat and she is small in size. Minnie is a lovely, happy natured little girl who loves everyone; she is very playful, loves to go on walks and she seems fine with other dogs.




This is KEVIN, a Border Collie, male, approximately 2 years old. He is black and white, he has a semi coat and he is medium in size. He has returned to the care of RDR through no fault of his own; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Kevin is a friendly boy who knows basic commands, is house trained and non destructive and he is good with other dogs and cats. He would like an active home where his family are at home a lot of the time.




This is ROCKY, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Bichon Frise/Poodle Cross, male, approximately 9 months old. He is white, he has a curly coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR and is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Rocky is a very friendly boy who is house trained and non destructive and he is good with other dogs and cats..."He's a gentle soul, still only a pup so very lively but knows basic commands."




This is ROSIE, a Jack Russell Terrier Cross, female, born 6th March 2013. She is black and tan, she has a smooth coat and she is small to medium in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. "Rosie is a very sweet natured girl but she is very nervous around new people and just likes a quiet life... she's good on the lead and always looks back to see if you're close by."..."At a guess I’d say she’s a lbit of Staffie, a bit of Jack Russell and a bit of chihuahua thrown in for good measure ( she has chi type back legs and tiny feet ). She looks like a miniature staffie. Rosie looks very worried and I thought she would take a bit of winning over but she did great meeting my pack, wasn’t overly interested in them but seemed to like sitting with them. She seemed relieved after a week at the pound to have some cuddles and let me scoop her up. She allowed my dogs to sniff her over till they lost interest and left her be. She is an unassuming little girl - I haven’t heard a sound from her yet. She will sit when asked / she follows me around if she can - she is affectionate too. She looks like she’s had pups and could do with a bit more weight on her. She really is the sweetest little girl. One thing to note is after showing her around I nipped back out to my van - came back in to find her sitting on my fence - it was only an internal fence so not a problem she couldn’t go anywhere but it was 4 foot high so I’d say a higher fence needed. She wasn’t trying to escape but she was trying to find a vantage point to see where I had gone. She’s a gentle little thing and I’d say no boisterous kids as she isn’t very confident. She would make a lovely little companion for someone - she loves to just sit with you and needs her confidence building in a quieter home.."




This is CHARLIE, a Shih Tzu, male, born in June 2011. He is grey and white and he is small in size. He has been signed over into the care of RDR due to a change in his owners' circumstances. "Charlie is an easy, laid back boy with no apparent issues. He meets and greets dogs in a polite way and despite having no experience of cats prior to arriving in foster he was well mannered and calm around them. Charlie is great around people and fine with older children. He likes his walks and is happy to be left for short periods. He is an all round well behaved little gentleman."




These are LEO & LILY, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, male and female. Leo is approximately 6 years old and Lily 5 years old. They are red and white and small in size. Their coats have been neglected so they have received a good groom (see before and after photos). They are a lovely, friendly bonded pair, they share a bed and enjoy walks together.




This is KANE, a Doberman, male, born 28.09.2016. He is black and tan and he is large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Kane is a friendly boy who is strong on the lead, knows basic commands, travels well and he is good with other dogs. Kane is a lovely boy who needs a home with breed and/or large dog experience and preferably with a female dog. "Kane is brilliant. I’m so taken with him already. He just needed a really good run and chance to burn some energy off and now he’s a totally different dog. He’s got on brilliantly with my dogs and I would happily rehome him with a female dog/s. He could probably go with the right male but would prefer female. He’s been great with all the people he’s met. He knows quite a few things. Sit, down, paw, wait and his recall is good. He’s very large in size and while I’m finding him so much fun and easy he will need an experienced owner familiar with the breed or similar types of dog as he needs rules and a leader. He’s travelled well and happily leaps in any vehicle. He’s met the horses and has been fine around them. He took a bit of an interest in the goats but listened when told to come away. He has the best happy face smile and he’s always looking for where I am and I don’t have to worry about him going anywhere when off lead. He’s a clean dog in the house and has slept well at night. Loves his food and treats."




This is BOB, a Patterdale Cross, male, born 10.11.2018. He is black with white on his chest, he has a smooth coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Bob is a friendly boy who knows basic commands and he is housetrained, he can be anxious when left, and he is good with other dogs and cats. "Bob's a lovely little pup. He's very well behaved but did pull a little when he wanted to get to Roxy to walk next to her. We went over the fields today and Bob happily negotiated the stiles. Luckily Bob and Roxy get on brilliantly together as at one point they both decided to squeeze under the same stile at the same time. When we reached the river Bob didn't hesitate and was straight in to cool down and have a splash about. He was a bit of a naughty boy too today, pinching most of the gravy bones out of my bag whilst I was distracted sorting him a drink of water out. He's such a cutie though he was soon forgiven. Really enjoy walking with Bob, he's such a lovable chap and gives the sloppiest of kisses and cuddles whether you want one or not. Someone is going to be so lucky to have him in their life."




This is CHARLIE, a Border Collie, male, born in July 2012. He is black and white, he has a semi coat and he is medium in size. He has been signed over into the care of RDR due to a change in his owners' circumstances. Charlie is a friendly boy who knows basic commands and he is good with other dogs and cats..."Charlie though 7 years old looks younger - he is in good condition and has had flyball training previously which he thoroughly enjoys & will still do if he can. He loves to retrieve a ball too. Charlie is strong on the lead and will pull. Charlie has some separation anxiety where he will howl or bark if left too long... Charlie is clean in the home and not destructive. He is a very happy, handsome and sociable boy who would like to start his new chapter with someone who enjoys walks and company."




This is MAX, a Cockerpoo, male, born in March 2017. He is cream in colour and has a medium coat which will need regular grooming. He has been signed over into the care of RDR. Max is a nice natured boy, who has quickly settled into his busy foster home. He is great with other dogs and as he thrives in their company we will be ideally looking for a home with at least one other dog. Max also seems to be good with other animals and is housetrained. He is an energetic boy and has embraced the routines in foster with lots of walks and play time - he loves his food and would enjoy doing some doggy activities. Max is anxious when left, and he so needs a confident home with someone around much of the time, and with experience of separation issues so they can work on this. He is a clever boy who also does know how to make his owners feel bad for leaving him!




This is BLISS a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 4 years old. She is light brindle with white on her chest and she is small to medium in size.




This is POPPY a Jack Russell Terrier, female, born 5th September 2018. She is tri-coloured, she has a smooth coat and she is small in size. Poppy is a very friendly, excitable little girl who seems fine with other dogs.




This is SADIE, an American Bulldog x Mastiff, female, born in December 2017. She is tan and white with a smooth coat and she is large in size. Sadie is a lovely placid happy girl who seems to be good with other dogs.



This is SKYE a Lurcher, female, born in March 2016. She is white with merle patches, she has blue eyes, a smooth coat and she is medium in size.



This is ROXY a Lurcher, female, born in April 2017. She is brown/grey brindle, she has a rough coat and she is medium in size. Roxy is a very good natured girl who is very responsive to commands, loves her walks and cuddles and she is good with other dogs.



These are QUEENIE & ARTHUR, Corgis; Queenie is female, approximately 9 years old, Arthur is male, approximately 6 years old. They are both golden and white and are smallish in size. They have been signed over to the care of RDR; they are currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Queenie and Arthur are both very friendly and are good with other dogs and cats.




This is BRUNO, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 7 years old. He is light tan with white on his chest, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Bruno is a friendly boy who knows some basic commands and he is good with other dogs..."Bruno is a character- it’s anyone’s guess what breeds are in there. Bruno is 7 years old, fit and enthusiastic about life. He loves cuddles, being with his human and greets everyone as though they are his long lost friends - he’s great with other dogs, clean in the home and recalls like a dream for his foster mum while on walks. Bruno is a loyal boy who would prefer a home where there is someone around a lot. He will settle for an hour while his foster mum nips to the shops but wouldn’t want to be left for long periods- Bruno is clean in the home, non destructive and loves his food and toys."




This is MABEL, a Lurcher, female, born in November 2018. She is black with white on her chest and toes, she has a smooth coat and she is medium in size. Mabel is a very friendly, bouncy girl who is very sweet, she loves attention and she is good with other dogs.



This is MOSCOW, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 13 months old. He is black and dark brindle with white on his chest and he is medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Moscow is a very friendly boy with people and other dogs; he knows basic commands including sit and wait for food.




This is WILLOW, a Lurcher, female, born in October 2017. She is dark brindle with white on her chest and toes, she has a smooth coat and she is medium in size. Willow is a calm friendly girl who knows some basic commands, she is good with other dogs but not with cats or small ferries..."Walks beautifully, even when walking ahead her lead stays nice and loose. Gave a paw for treats and takes them very gently. No problem passing other dogs or with bikes and runners coming up behind her. Gorgeous girl!"




This is DEANO, a Chihuahua, male, born in February 2015. He is light tan, he has a long coat and he is very small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to the ill health of his elderly owner; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Deano has not been well socialised and can be very reactive with strangers; he will be further assessed and will need a home with experience/understanding of a reactive small dog.




This is GIZMO, a Cross Breed, male, he will be 3 years old on the 25th June. He is dark brindle with white on his face, chest and feet, he has a smooth coat and he is medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Gizmo can be a bit nervous initially but he is a friendly, bouncy boy who is good with other dogs and cats. He knows basic commands, he is housetrained and he travels well..."He's a lovely boy!"




This is HOLLY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 4 years old. She is white and brindle and she is small to medium in size. Holly is a beautiful loving girl who seems good with other dogs..."What a little treasure Holly is! I picked her up and she was very excited, lots of lovely kisses! She travelled really well in the car, didn't hear a peep out of her and she was happy enough getting in and out of the crate in my boot. At the vets she wanted to say hello to everyone and greeted other dogs nicely..."




This is OLLIE, a Labrador, male, approximately 7 months old. He is chocolate and he will be medium to large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in his owner's working hours; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Ollie is a very friendly, very bouncy, very enthusiastic boy who is good with other dogs but he will need an owner prepared to work hard on his training!




This is ALFIE, a Labrador Cross, male, approximately 8 years old. He is golden and he is medium to large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Alfie is a friendly boy who knows basic commands, walks well on the lead, is non destructive, travels well and he is good with other dogs.




This is CHESTER, a Husky, male, approximately 1 year old. He is cream, grey and white, he has a thick coat and he is medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in the owner's circumstances. Chester is a friendly boy who is good with other dogs.. we have been advised he can jump fences so he will need a very secure garden. He is an active boy who is loving lots of exercise and doggy company of all shapes and sizes in his foster home and would thrive in a husky experienced active home. He loves to run but is not good off lead. He does like company (people or dogs) and can make his own mischief if left totally home alone (including finding the bins). He is a little over keen on cats, so best in a cat free home. He is a great fun dog who is more than ready for his new home.




This is PEPPER, a Beagle, female, born October 2011. She is tri-coloured and she is small to medium in size. She is overweight. Pepper is a happy friendly girl who is good with other dogs. She is playful, friendly and is raring to go on her walks.




This is HENRY, a Jack Russell Terrier Cross, male, approximately 3 years old. He is tan and white, he has a smooth coat and he is small in size. He is underweight. He was found tied up with a note asking for him to be rehomed. Henry is currently a nervous little boy...."He’s a quiet chap who initially seemed reluctant to walk far from the kennels, but once in the woodlands he soon picked up the pace and enjoyed meeting people and their dogs... He takes biscuits gently...Lovely little gentleman!"




This is OSCAR, a French Bulldog, male, approximately 18 months old. He is white and he is small in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Oscar is a friendly little boy with a lovely nature who is fine with other dogs... "he sleeps a lot and snores very loudly." He is deaf.




This is BUSTER, an English Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, male, born 26th November 2018. He is white and tan, he has a smooth coat and he will be medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to his owner's long working hours; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Buster is a friendly, sociable pup who loves dogs and other people..."Buster is a blank canvas - he is still very much a baby who will need training and exercise and teaching how to behave and have good manners. He is doing very well at his house training and is almost there. He knows how to sit / shake a paw and ‘down’ already & loves his toys."




This is MANDY, a Yorkshire/Border Terrier Cross, female, approximately 10+ years old. She is tan/gold and she is small in size. She is bald, possible caused by a flea allergy and she is emaciated; she is receiving veterinary treatment and has moved to foster, with a view to adoption. Mandy is a very friendly, lively and affectionate little girl.




This is ANGUS, a Shih Tzu, male, approximately 11 months old. He is black and white, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Angus is a lively friendly boy who is nearly house trained... "he is lovely to handle, not snappy at all but he is still quite giddy and needs some work on his manners...would say that Angus would adapt to many types of home but prob not suited to one with a grumpy or older dog or dogs - he loves to chase and wrestle and play, he plays well with no aggression and holds his own with bigger dogs but may be too much for a dog not as keen to play. He likes people and food lots so would make a good companion as long as he gets walked or he would be equally as happy to live with an active family."




These are CASSIE & LUNA, they are Jack Russell Terrier/Pug Crosses. Cassie was born in April 2013 and Luna in December 2013; they have been together since Luna was eight weeks old. Cassie is red and white, Luna is paler and they are both small in size. Cassie and Luna are two lovely, steady girls who are good with other dogs and cats, are house trained, non destructive, can be left and travel well... 'a lovely, ready-made little family'.




This is FINNEY, a Terrier Cross, male, approximately 10+ years old. He is black and tan, he has a rough coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in his owner's circumstances. Finney is a very friendly, calm boy who knows basic commands and he is ok with other dogs..."Finney will make a lovely companion for someone and even though he's an older chap he had no problem being out walking for well over an hour."




These are ALFIE & BEN. Alfie is a Springer Spaniel, male, approximately 10 years old. He is liver and white and he is medium in size. Ben is a Border Collie, male, approximately 7 years old. He is black and white, he has a long coat and he is medium in size. They are overweight. They have been signed over to the care of RDR due to the ill health of their owner and are currently in emergency foster. Alfie and Ben are friendly boys who are house trained, good on the lead and good with other dogs but not with cats.




This is POPPY, a Manchester Terrier/Jack Russell/Lancashire Heeler Cross, female, approximately 11 months old. She is black and tan with white on her chest, she has a smooth coat and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR. Poppy is a "lovely little pup, just a bit timid"; she is very submissive and needs her confidence building but she is happy to mix with other dogs, enjoys walks and she knows a few tricks. She will need a home who will help her build her confidence and continue her training.




This is: HARVEY, a Border Collie, male, approximately 8 years old. He is black and white, he has a semi coat and he is medium in size. Harvey is a friendly boy..." Harvey walks nicely on his lead, a mixture of wanting to lead the way but also happy to walk alongside me with a loose lead...Harvey is a lovable, cuddly boy and seems very affectionate. He knows how to sit when asked and took the treats I offered him very gently."




This is DARCIE, a French Bulldog/Shih Tzu Cross, female, approximately 3 years old. She is black and white, she has a rough coat and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR. "Darcie is a small dog with a big character. She is a stocky girl who is a bit of a bruiser, she likes to wrestle her foster brothers and sisters in a playful manner, all in good spirit but this may not be appreciated by non playful dogs as she likes to bring them down then sit on top of them - the well balanced dogs in her foster home are absolutely fine with this as they know it’s just a game. Darcie is a lot of fun. She loves to retrieve a ball. She is very steady with her people & is good to handle, she pulls on the lead but is not hard to manage, she has lived with another dog and a cat. Darcie loves her walks and toys, she is clean and quiet in the home."




This is NALA, a Jack Russell Terrier, female, approximately 3 years old. She is tan and white, she has a wire haired coat and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR. Nala is a very friendly girl who knows basic commands and she is good with other dogs..."she is a great little allrounder and a typical fun terrier."




This is TED, a Beagle Cross, male, approximately 5 years old. He is tri-coloured and he is medium in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Ted is a friendly boy who travels well in the car, is fully housetrained and his recall seems ok. Whilst he gets on well with the other dogs in his foster home he can only be rehomed with confident dog/s.




This is DJANGO, a Rhodesian Ridgeback Cross, male, approximately 4 1/2 years old. He is tan with white on his chest, he has a smooth coat and he is medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a big change in his owner's circumstances. Django is a friendly boy who has previously lived with another dog and cat; "Django loves his walks, he walks well on a head collar and lead...he is fit and active, he settles well in the home, he is house trained and well mannered. Django would fit into most families lives - he has basic training , is clean and quiet in the home and is very handsome too!"




This is TILLY, a Jack Russell/Patterdale Cross, female, nearly 8 years old. She is black and tan with white on her chest, she has a wiry coat and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to the sad death of her owner; she is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Tilly is a lovely companion dog - she is fit and active but also loves to sit and watch TV. She is housetrained and Ok with other dogs but she cannot live with cats and she is unused to small children. She is happy to be left for short periods and she has nice manners.




This is LOLA, an Alaskan Malamute, female, approximately 7 years old. She is grey and white and she is large in size. Lola has come into the care of RDR due to the death of her owner. Lola is a very friendly girl who is good with other dogs.




This is JESTER, a Lurcher, male, approximately 4 years old. He is black with white on his face, chest and toes, he has a smooth coat and he is large in size. Jester is a lovely, friendly and placid boy who seems fine with other dogs..."This boy has grown in confidence over the last few weeks and walked confidently at a smart pace. We passed people and dogs with a friendly glance and took biscuits gently. He really has such a sweet face and would lean into me as our bond grew with strokes and friendly chatter. He doesn’t pull on the lead after the first excited minute and Jester would make a wonderful companion." He is not good with cats and small furries.




This is FREYA, a Mastiff Cross, female, approximately 16 months old. She is tan and white, she has a thick coat and she is very large in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Freya is a lovely girl in need of further training and socialisation who will need an experienced home with another dog or dogs.




This is DAPHNE, a Chihuahua, female, approximately 7 years old. She is cream, she has a long coat and she is very small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to guarding issues; she is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. She is housetrained and she seems fine with other dogs. Daphne's behaviour problems are fear based and she will not be ready to be rehomed for a few weeks; she will need a home with no children under the age of 16 and one that preferably has experience of fear aggression.




This is DARLA, a Chihuahua, female, approximately 16 months old. She is cream, she has a smooth coat and she is very small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in her owner's circumstances; she is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Darla is a friendly girl who has had little socialisation with other dogs, she knows several commands and tricks and is almost house trained. Darla does not like to share any of her 'stuff', be it her bed, toys or attention and will be homed as an only dog with an owner who will slowly socialise her.




This is SWAREZ, a Pekingese, male, approximately 5 years old. He is black and white and he is small in size. Swarez is a very friendly boy who can be nervous of men and he has previously lived with other dogs and cats..."It was a very wet morning but Swarez didn't seem to mind. He was also happy to walk alongside Harvey and both boys got on really well. Swarez is a lovely little chap with bags of character. He walks brilliant on his lead, although we do have a fair few stops while he has a sniff and then leaves his mark. Cassie is a very friendly, bouncy girl and she seems fine with other dogs..."Cassie couldn't wait to jump in the river and had a great time splashing about and retrieving sticks I threw in for her. Cassie seems a very friendly girl, she was happy to be walked with Lola. She's so affectionate too and just loves having her back scratched and will reward you with lots of cuddles. She's such a sweetheart."




This is MARLEY, a Working Cocker Spaniel/Poodle Cross, male, approximately 17 months old. He is black and he is small in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children although we are looking for a home where the children are 16+. He has previously had little exercise and socialisation but 'he thrives on training and is super, super intelligent'...'he is not going to be easy but he is so very rewarding'. He needs a home experienced with working breeds and would love one where he can spend a lot of time outdoors doing things or maybe activities such as agility.

As well as being a gorgeous boy, he's just about perfect and so ready to move on to the next chapter in his young life, getting his forever home."

Tina is nearly 6 years old, she is brindle with white on her chest and toes and she is small to medium in size. They have returned to the care of RDR due to a change in their owner's circumstance. Rocky is very good natured and he loves cuddles; he has allergies for which he is on medication. Tina is very good natured, kissy and cuddly and loves to play ball. Neither of them are used to being off lead.

Bruce is a friendly boy who is currently a bit anxious and he seems fine with other dogs..."He’s a beautiful boy with a soft coat and ears that flop as he walks. He was a little timid and kept glancing behind to see the upcoming traffic but he walked nicely on the lead and passed sheep and people with not a care in the world. He wasn’t really interested in a biscuit but enjoyed a nice sniff at the trees and plants. A real sweetheart who I know will be wonderful in a home that is loving." Bruce is a nervous, inexperienced boy who needs to be rehomed to be with another calm, confident dog.

Dora is a lovely natured, excitable girl who is good with other dogs..."Dora's a bouncy, friendly girl who loves kisses and cuddles and she's absolutely adorable. She walks nicely on her lead, she does pull a little at times but is very easily manageable."

Timmy is a lovely natured little man who seems fine with other dogs..."He was happy to meet me and happily let me pick him up for a cuddle. He looks a little old boy but like must Jrts he has plenty of energy and at times enjoyed a little run and play. He walked brilliantly on the lead and happily walked next to me... He is a fantastic little dog."

She has a bad skin condition for which she is receiving veterinary treatment and she looks to have had pups. Martha is a lovely natured girl who appears to have had little or no training but she is very food orientated which will help this..."Had a lovely walk with Martha this morning. Her coat is looking better every week and she's obviously feeling much better as her little character is starting to show."

Gizmo is a friendly, gentle boy who walks well on the lead..."This afternoon me and Gizmo went for a walk to the park where we met some lovely dogs and people.  Gizmo was, as he always is, perfectly well behaved and polite with everybody.  He particularly liked a little bulldog we met and they had time to share a biscuit whilst us humans chatted."




This is KAYA, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 10-12 years old. She is black and white and she is small to medium in size. Kaya is a lovely natured, placid girl who loves cuddles, likes her walks and she seems fine with other dogs..."Happy girl. Doesn’t show her age. No problem transporting her & she was calm at the vets. Her tail never stops wagging!"... "Anyone thinking of adopting Kaya, don't be put off by her age, she certainly doesn't give the impression of being an older dog. We walked for a good hour and there was still plenty of life in her when we got back."

This is ARCHER, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 3 years old. He is light tan with white markings on his muzzle and paws, he has a smooth coat and he is medium to large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Archer is a very friendly boy and is quickly settling into his foster home; he is house trained, crate trained and travels well. He is strong on the lead initially and is very ball focussed, he is ok with cats and could possibly live with another dog/dogs; he would love a home with an outdoor, active life!  




This is DIESEL an American Bulldog/Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, male, approximately 14 months old. He is brindle and white and he is small to medium in size. He was very underweight and he had a respiratory infection for which he received veterinary treatment. Diesel is a loving and affectionate boy who knows basic commands, takes treats gently and he seems fine with other dogs.




This is HARVEY, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, male, approximately 10 years old. He is  black and tan and he is small in size. He has some health problems with his eyes and teeth; he will be receiving veterinary treatment for these whilst in the care of RDR. He has had an operation to remove rotten and decaying teeth and is now receiving heart medication for a Grade 3 murmur. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Harvey is a happy older boy who loves food and barks for attention. 




This is SNOOP, a JRT/Shih Tzu Cross, male, approximately 3 years old. He is tan and white, he has a rough coat and he is small in size. He has returned to the care of RDR due to the ill health of his owner. Snoop is a friendly little boy who needs an adult only home... "He is so cute and lovable.  He loves a fuss and a stroke, and he loves his treats and will sit nicely for them.  He walks along really nicely and enjoys a good sniff and a mooch around.  He seems happy to be with other dogs and is not phased by anything really.  He is a real big dog in a little dogs body and has tons of personality.  Such a sweetie!"




This is CHARLIE, a Beagle, female, approximately 2 years old. She is tri-coloured and she is mediuml in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to the ill health of her owner; she is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Charlie is a sweet natured girl who walks well on the lead, takes treats gently and she is good with other dogs. She needs a home where someone is around for most of the time.

This is DARCY, a Papillon, male, approximately 8 years old. He is tri-coloured, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Darcy is a lovely, gentle and quiet little boy who would be best suited to an adult only home as he is quite shy and delicate; he is good with other dogs and cats and enjoys walks. He is recovering from a bad skin condition where he lost 40% of his coat; this condition may flare up again at some point in the future so he will ideally be rehomed where he can still visit his current vet in Bamber Bridge, Preston.




This is WILLOW, a Cross Breed, female, born 24th May 2018. She is light tan, she has a smooth coat and she will be medium to large in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR; she is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Willow is a lovely, friendly pup!

She has been signed over to the care of RDR; she is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Ruby is a nervous but friendly girl who seems Ok with most dogs but she will need to be rehomed as the only dog. She enjoys playing with a ball and takes treats gently; "Ruby is a gentle giant. This is MAX, a Labrador, male, approximately 8-11 years old. He is black and he is medium in size. He has lots of lumps, a sore on his back and infected ears for which he is receiving veterinary treatment. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Max is a gentle, friendly boy.

Billy is a gorgeous boy who loves people and other dogs and he knows basic commands. He has previously been very rarely left so he needs a new home where people are at home most of the time.

Max needs an experienced home, preferably as an only dog but he does get along with other dogs. He is great on the lead, loves agility and staying active.  Max could not live with cats. "He was fantastic on the lead and so well behaved when we come across other dogs and people. He loved having a cuddle and was so obedient."

Oslo is a very friendly, loving and gentle boy who seems Ok with other dogs and cats. Oslo has been given the opportunity to take part in a national puppy training programme with his foster carer so we will hold his rehoming until the middle of March... watch this space for updates of his progress!

He will be a loyal companion and enjoys being handled and lots of affection."

This is CARLOS, a Mastiff, male, approximately 3 years old. He is brindle in colour and he is large in size. Carlos is currently underweight.  He is a lovely gentle and steady lad who travels well, walks well on the lead and is happy to be handled. "Carlos is such an adorable dog he is loving and sweet and loves his strokes and fuss."




This is JAX, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 3-4 years old. He is tan with a black muzzle, he has a smooth coat and he is medium in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Jax is a nice friendly, gentle and steady boy; he knows basic commands, he is housetrained, travels well and he is good with other dogs... "He really will make an amazing companion for someone."




This is LIBBY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 5 years old. She is blue with a white chest and she is small to medium in size. She has returned to the care of RDR. She is currently in emergency foster. Libby is a friendly girl who needs to be rehomed as the only dog.  She also needs a cat free home.




This is TINY, a Dogue de Bordeaux Cross, female, approximately 10 months old. She is light brown with a white chest, she has a smooth coat and she is medium in size. She has been deemed as not type by a DLO.  Tiny is a very friendly girl who is very dog friendly.




This is BENTLEY, a Pomeranian, male, approximately 3 years old. He is tan, he has a long coat and he is small to medium in size (larger than is usual for a Pomeranian). He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in the owner's circumstances and because he was not comfortable with the young children in the home; he is currently in emergency foster. Bentley can be timid at first but he is a very friendly, cuddly boy who can be left for short periods, is good with other dogs and older children and he is Ok with cats.




This is PRINCE, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 12 months old. He is black with white on his chest and paws, he has a smooth coat and he is small to medium in size. Prince has been signed over to the care of RDR  due to a change in his owner's circumstances; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Prince is a very friendly boy who is good with other dogs. 




This is SKYE, a Border Collie Cross, male, approximately 4 years old. He is blue merle with blue eyes, he has a long coat and he is medium to large in size. Skye has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in his owner's circumstances. He needs a home with children over the age of 14. Skye is a friendly, affectionate and very active boy who loves to play; he has lived with another dog, he is house trained and non destructive when left and he needs a lot of exercise and training. He knows basic commands and walks well on the lead.  




This is SMILER, a Terrier Cross, male, approximately 2 years old. He is tri-coloured, he has a smooth coat and he is small in size. Smiler is a friendly, bouncy boy who knows basic commands - he likes to 'smile' at people! 


This is PIXIE, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 8 months old. She is tan with a black muzzle, she has a smooth coat and she is small in size. Pixie is a lovely friendly girl who is good with other dogs.  




This is MAX & PIPPA, they are Springer Spaniels; Max is male, approximately 7 years old and Pippa is female, approximately 6 years old. They are both liver and white and medium in size. They have been signed over to the care of RDR; they are currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Max and Pippa are very friendly dogs, Max is more outgoing and confident than Pippa. They both travel well and are good with other dogs. 




This is ROXY a American Bulldog/SBT Cross, female, approximately 2 years old. She is fawn and white and she is medium in size. She has returned to the care of RDR through no fault of her own, due to a change in her owner's circumstances. Roxy is a gentle natured, friendly and steady girl; she is very strong on the lead and, although she is Ok walking with other dogs, will need to be the only dog in a home.  




This is MILLIE, a Beagle/Springer Spaniel Cross, female, approximately 5 1/2 months old. She is tan and white, she has a smooth coat and she is medium in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR; she is currently in emergency foster. Millie is a lovely, friendly puppy; she knows some basic commands, is partly housetrained, used to a car and she is good with children and other dogs. 




This is TED, a Collie/Terrier Cross, male, 8-9 years old. He is black and tan, he has a rough coat and he is medium to large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is currently in emergency foster. Ted is a very friendly, cuddly boy who knows basic commands, he is housetrained, non destructive when left and he travels well. He needs to be rehomed as an only dog. "He's full of beans and loves playing".




This is APRIL, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, 10+ years old. April is a beautiful girl who found herself dumped on the streets with two large (benign) growths. She has since had these removed and is now in emergency foster with other dogs. April is a bubbly, fun loving little girl who absolutely loves people and life. She is fully house trained and knows basic commands. She enjoys belly rubs, cuddles, treats and playing ball. April is friendly towards other dogs and children and is an absolute delight to walk. She doesn't need a lot of exercise and is great on the lead. She has settled in well with the other dogs she is living with whilst in foster and seems very happy in their company.

  


These are CASSIE & TILLY. Cassie is a Shih Tzu/Yorkie Cross, female, approximately 4-5 years old, black with a rough coat and she is small in size. Tilly is a Shih Tzu/Terrier Cross, female, 6 years old, tan with a rough coat and she is small in size. They have been signed over to the care of RDR; they are in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. They are both fine with other dogs, housetrained and can be left for short periods. Cassie is a shy girl who can be timid of strangers but is she is a cuddly girl once she knows you; she likes to know where Tilly is at all times. Tilly is a friendly, cuddly girl who loves walks. 

  


This is SNOOP, a JRT/Shih Tzu Cross, male, approximately 2 years old. He is tan and white, he has a rough coat and he is small in size. Snoop is a friendly, cuddly little boy who likes playing fetch with a ball, he travels well, enjoys grooming and he is good with other dogs. He needs an adult only home. 

  


This is JESSIE, a Jack Russell Terrier, female, approximately 6 years old. She is white with tan patches and speckles, she has a smooth coat and she is small in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Jessie is a friendly, steady girl who is good with other dogs. 

 


This is KATY, a Border Collie, female, nearly 3 years old. She is black and white, she has a semi coat and she is medium in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR. Katy is a very friendly girl who knows basic commands, is housetrained, non destructive when left and she travels well. She is fine with some dogs; she needs to be rehomed with a calm male dog or as an only dog. 

 


This is KANE, an American Bulldog Cross, male, approximately 9 months old. He is white and brindle and he is medium in size. He has sore eyes which are being treated with eye drops and are a lot better now. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Kane is a very friendly boy who is fine with other dogs. "People love Kane - lots of people were interested in coming to talk to him and stroke him, even some smaller children came for a stroke and he was so sweet with everyone- even rolling on his back for a tummy tickle to add to his level of cuteness- cue a big aaahhhh from the surrounding public!...Kane is absolutely adorable"

 


This is LOKI, a Miniature Schnauzer, male, approximately 12 months old. He is grey and silver and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in his owner's circumstances; he s currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Loki is a very friendly, excitable boy who is house trained, not destructive and crate trained and he is good with children and other dogs.  

 


This is DAKOTA, a Collie Cross, female, approximately 2-3 years old. She is black and tan with a white chest, she has a short coat and she is medium in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR. Dakota is a very friendly girl who knows basic commands and she seems fine with other dogs. 

 


This is DENZIL, a Labrador Cross, male, approximately 15 months old. He is black and he is medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Denzil is a friendly, bouncy boy who knows basic commands, he is housetrained, not destructive, he travels well and he is Ok with other dogs. 

 


This is LILY, a Westie/Bichon Frise Cross, female, approximately 2.5 years old. She is white, she has a long coat and she is very small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to her owner's ill health; she is in emergency foster with older children and other dogs. Lily is a friendly, cuddly girl who walks well on the lead, is non destructive and is fine with some dogs - "She is full of character and very sassy!" 

 


This is OZZY, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 6 years old. He is dark brindle with white on his chest and toes, he has a grey muzzle and he is small to medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in his owner's circumstances. Ozzy is a very friendly, sweet little boy who travels well, and is good with other dogs and cats..."He really is a super little dog, who looks much younger than his picture."

 


This is KOKO, a Chihuahua Cross, female, approximately 3 years old. She is tan with a black muzzle, she has a smooth coat and she is very small in size. She is underweight, she arrived with long nails and needed flea and worm treatments. She is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children; she is lovely with them all, her tail hasn't stopped wagging! Koko is very affectionate, loves being carried and cuddled and is lovely to handle. She has had very little training, including not being house trained - time, patience, understanding and regular walks are required.

He is tan with a white chest and a black mask, he has a smooth coat and he is a small medium size. Maxi is a very friendly boy who can be excitable but settles down, he is housetrained and he takes treats gently. He is black with a white chest and toes, he has a smooth coat and he is medium to large in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Geoff is a friendly, bouncy boy who likes a cuddle, he takes treats gently and he is good with other dogs. 




This is CODY, a Sprocker, male, approximately 4 years old. He is black and he is small to medium in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is in emergency foster with other dogs. Cody is a very friendly boy who is good with other dogs and cats; he is house trained and he knows basic commands. He cannot be left for more than a couple of hours.




This is JACK, a Mastiff Cross, male, approximately 8 months old. He is brindle with white on his chest and paws and he is large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Jack is a friendly, loving, bouncy boy although he can be a little unsure at times; he loves cuddles and he seems Ok with other dogs. 




This is JAKE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 7 months old. He is black and white, and he is small to medium in size. Jake is a good natured, friendly boy and he seems Ok with other dogs. 




This is FRED, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 2 years old. He is dark brindle with white on his chest and paws and he is small to medium in size. Fred is a good natured and fairly steady boy who seems Ok with other dogs.




This is OZZIE, a Labrador, male, approximately 2 years old. He is black and he is medium to large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Ozzie is a friendly boy who is great with all dogs; he is house trained, loves to play ball and loves water! He is still very puppyish and will need further training, plenty of exercise and would prefer an owner who is with him most of the day.




This is SAM, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 6-9 months old. He is brindle with a white flash on his chest and toes and he is medium in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Sam is a good natured, friendly and steady boy; he is a lovely boy who is in need of basic training, he travels well, is great with other dogs and he seems Ok with cats. 




This is SNOOP, a JRT/Shih Tzu Cross, male, approximately 2 years old. He is tan and white, he has a rough coat and he is small in size. Snoop is a friendly little boy. 




This is GED, a Maltese, male, approximately 10 months old. He is white, he has a clipped coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Ged is a friendly little boy who is in need of training.




This is BRUNO, a Mastiff, male, approximately 5-6 years old. He is dark brindle with a white flash on his chest and white toes and he is large in size. Bruno is a very friendly, calm and steady boy who walks well on the lead and he seems fine with other dogs. He sits nicely for treats and he takes them very gently.  "...he is literally magnificent, and to match his good looks he has a personality that is so lovely".




This is JARVIS, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 5 years old. He is blue in colour with a white chest and he is small to medium size. His claws were very long and growing through his pads, he has an ear infection and he has had a severe skin irritation caused by fleas for all of which he is now receiving veterinary treatment. Jarvis is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. He is Ok with other dogs. Jarvis is currently a sad boy who is very subdued - this could change when he's feeling better.




This is BAILEY, a Beagle, male, approximately 9 months old. He is tri-coloured and he is small to medium in size. He has been signed over to our care due to a change in his owner's circumstances; he is currently in emergency foster. Bailey is a bright, energetic boy who needs a very experienced Beagle home. He is good with other dogs, excellent on the lead and enjoys training and agility. He suffers from separation anxiety, so someone around most of the time is a must. He also has some resource guarding which we are working on with our behaviourist; his foster family are finding it easy to manage but he will need ongoing training - because of this we are looking for an adult only home. As stated, Bailey is looking for a very experienced Beagle owner with an active lifestyle and who is prepared to continue with his training.




This is PETAL, a Boxer/SBT Cross, female, approximately 4 years old, She is brindle with white on her face, neck, chest and front toes and she is medium in size.  Petal is a nice natured and steady girl; she is a gentle and loving girl who knows basic commands and enjoys playing fetch. Petal is good with other dogs and could live with another dog. "Took Petal out for a group walk with Reg, Max and Twinkle.  It was the first time I had met any of the dogs and all dogs were wagging their tails and happy to see us when they were brought out of their kennels... She was happy to be stroked and cuddled by someone she had never met before.  She pulled hard on her lead at first...  I am only 5'2" in height and found that I could quite easily manage her on her lead walk.  With lots of walks and training, her lead walking can only get better.  She would make a great companion for someone."




This is CHARLIE, a Border Collie, male, approximately 12 months old. He is tricoloured, he has a semi coat and he is medium in size. He has been signed over to our care; he is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Charlie is a lovely, friendly boy who has lived with other dogs, cats and children and been fine with all. He loves to play ball! He needs an energetic home, preferably with collie experience. "...gets on great with all other dogs and is very good off lead. Has a great recall and always stays close by and keeps an eye on what you are doing. He's a really good eater, sleeps well and would be fine to be left for reasonable periods".




This is BRYSON, a Bulldog Cross, male, approximately 3 years old. He is white with a black patch on his right ear and he is medium in size. Bryson is a good natured, friendly boy who is strong on the lead initially but fairly steady. He takes treats gently, knows basic commands and he seems fine with other dogs; "...he's a big soft guy". 




These are PIXIE & MAISIE, Cocker Spaniels, female, approximately 9 months old. They are lemon and white and they are small to medium in size. Pixie is the smaller of the two. They have been signed over to our care; they are currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Pixie and Maisie are very friendly, polite girls who travel well, have good recall and are good with other dogs.




This is MILLY, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 6 years old. She is black and she is small to medium in size. She was found tied to a lamppost. Milly is friendly and nice natured - she's a sweet girl who knows basic commands and she is good with other dogs. " She is a lovely, gentle little girl who will make a wonderful pet for someone".

 


This is JESS, a Labrador/Standard Poodle Cross, female, approximately 10 months old. She is black, she has a curly coat and she will be medium to large in size.  She is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats, other animals and children. Jess is a very affectionate girl who knows basic commands and has good manners but needs more training on the lead. She is house trained, non destructive, crate trained and excellent with other dogs but she needs a confident, playful companion dog to build her confidence and someone who is around most of the time as she doesn't like being alone.

 


This is NOOK, a Lurcher, male, approximately 2 years old. He is sandy coloured, he has a smooth coat and he is medium in size. He is underweight. Nook is currently a timid boy who wants to be friends. He travels well and is good with other dogs. "Nook is a lovely lad, he's a bit timid but very quickly makes friends and wants cuddles and affection." 

 


This is RYDER, an American Bulldog Cross, male, approximately 11 weeks old. He is black and white, he has a smooth coat and he will be medium in size. He has striking eyes - one blue and one brown. He has bowed legs which should improve with a good diet and gentle exercise; veterinary advice will be taken. He is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats, other animals and children. Ryder is a very affectionate, cuddly boy who is good with other dogs, cats and parrots! He's a lovely, clever pup.  

 


This is TARKA, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 3 years old. She is brindle and white and she is small to medium in size. Tarka is a lovely friendly girl who loves everyone. She is good with other dogs.

 


This is KYLIE, a Lurcher, female, approximately 4 years old. She is black in colour and she is medium in size. Kylie is good with other dogs and older children.  She loves her cuddles, is well behaved in the house and seems good to be left home alone. Kylie likes her walks, is good on the lead and is a couch potato at home. She may have tried agility before as she loves to jump over things when asked!

This is MAX, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 8 years old. He is black and white and he is medium in size. Max needs an experienced home, preferably as an only dog but he does get along with other dogs. He is great on the lead, loves agility and staying active.  Max could not live with cats. "He was fantastic on the lead and so well behaved when we come across other dogs and people. He loved having a cuddle and was so obedient. "

This is DOLLY, a Lakeland Terrier, female, approximately 4 years old. She is tan, she has a wiry coat and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR.  Dolly is a friendly girl who is good with cats, chickens and ducks and most dogs although she does need to be the only dog in her new home. She is house trained, non destructive, walks nicely on the lead and travels well.  

 


This is RITA, a Chihuahua, female, approximately 6 years old. She is tan and white, she has a smooth coat and she is small in size. She is overweight. Rita is a sweet little girl who loves cuddles; she can initially be scared of men but is Ok once she gets to know them, she takes a while to get used to calmer big dogs but is not keen on other giddy dogs, she is housetrained and she loves to travel in a car.  

 


This is BISCROC, a Border Terrier, male, approximately 9 years old. He is grizzle in colour and small in size. He has been signed over into our care due to a change in his owners circumstances. Biscroc is good with older children and most dogs but is best suited to be an only dog.  We have been told he is good with cats but have seen no evidence of this. He is house trained, non destructive, walks nicely on the lead and travels well. Biscroc likes his walks and is a friendly boy.  

 


This is LADY, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 6+ years old. She is tri-coloured with a smooth coat and she is smallish. Lady is a gentle, sweet little girl who doesn't make a fuss and is very undemanding! She also appears to be good with other dogs.




This is ARNOLD, a Collie Cross, male, approximately 4-6 months old. He is black and white, he has a long coat and he is currently small in size. Arnold is a lovely friendly pup who needs an active home - he is an extremely clever and lively pup who gets on well with other dogs.




This is SNOOP, a Border Collie Cross, male, approximately 18 weeks old. He is black and white, he has a smooth coat and he will be medium in size. He is in emergency foster with other dogs. Snoop is a lovely, friendly boy - he is very loyal, great with other dogs, good with other animals, he travels well and he is a very quick learner; his recall is excellent and he will be ideal for agility or obedience!




This is MAX, a Jack Russell Terrier, male, approximately 5 years old. He is black and white with a wire coat. Max is a lovely fun boy who is good with other dogs, older children and he ignores cats. He is great on and off the lead and is fine to be left for a reasonable period. Max loves to play ball when out and has a great recall. He would probably be best as an only dog as he can get over-excited with other dogs in the home. Max has been a much loved family dog who finds himself looking for a new home due to a change in his owners circumstances.




This is OZZY, a Labrador, male, approximately 12 months old. He is chocolate in colour and medium in size. Ozzy has had several homes in his young life and is looking for a home who can give him the consistency, training and exercise that he needs. He is good with dogs, cats and older children and he has also been around chickens! He loves to retrieve and play and its his favourite activity to bring you something. Having been left for too long previously he would love a home where someone is around much of the time and also with a nice secure garden.




This is ANNA, a Saluki Cross, female, approximately 8 months old. She is black and cream, she has a smooth coat and she is small to medium in size. She is underweight. She has a broken leg for which she is receiving veterinary treatment. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Anna is a sweet, very friendly little girl. 




This is BEN, a Lancashire Heeler, male, approximately 15 years old. He is black and tan and small in size. Ben is a lovely boy who is good with dogs, cats and children. He is house trained, very obedient and good on the lead. Ben travels well and is used to having company so would like a home with someone who is around much of the time.




This is CHEWIE, a Shih Tzu Cross, male, approximately 6 months old. He is brown and cream, he has a long coat and he is tiny in size. Chewie is a friendly little boy who is good with other dogs.




This is POLLY a Yorkshire Terrier, female, approximately 2-3 years old. She is tan and grey and she is very small in size. She is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Polly is quite timid at first but likes to be carried. She likes to be a watchdog in the garden but comes when called - she can use a catflap. She is fine with calm dogs but will tell dogs off if they are in her space.




This is TWINKLE, a Shar Pei Cross, female, approximately 1-2 years old. She is tan and she is medium in size. Twinkle was found as a stray in a terrible state suffering from hypothermia and overall neglect; she spent 4 days in the vets and was then released to the care of RDR. Twinkle is a very friendly girl who will need to be the only dog in the home. "Took Twinkle on a group walk with Reg, Petal & Max... She's such a good girl who's happy to trot along and doesn't get distracted from her walk by traffic or people. The more I see of Twinkle the more affectionate she becomes. Makes me smile to see her wagging tail. She's an absolute pleasure!"




This is JESS, a Whippet Cross, female, approximately 12 weeks old. She is tan and white, she has a smooth coat and she is currently small in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Jess is a lovely puppy who needs to live with another dog.

This is BELLA, a Jack Russell Terrier, female, approximately 8 years old. She is black and white, she has a rough coat and she is small in size. Bella is a friendly girl who is currently a little nervous; she walks well on the lead and she is good with other dogs.



This is FREYA, a German Shepherd, female, approximately 2 years old. She is black and tan, she has a long coat and she is medium in size. She is very thin and has previously had pups. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Freya is a timid girl but she is very loving and cuddly; she is growing in confidence, knows basic commands and is great with other dogs.



This is SKYLA, an American Bulldog Cross, female, approximately 11 months old. She is white with tan patches and she is medium in size. She is underweight. Skyla is a very friendly, bouncy, puppyish girl who seems good with other dogs.



This is BRIDGET, a Jack Russell Terrier, female, approximately 5-7 years old. She is white and tan, she has a smooth coat, a docked tail and she is small in size. She has a large lump under her belly which does not appear to be causing any discomfort and will be checked out by our vet; it is a double hernia and will be operated on when she is spayed. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Bridget is very quiet and shy but she is a very sweet girl who is good with other dogs; she is growing in confidence - "She is a cracking little dog and has a lovely temperament."



This is FRANKIE, a Jack Russell Terrier, male, approximately 5 years old. He is white and black and he is small in size. He is currently in emergency foster. Frankie is a friendly boy who needs an experienced terrier home willing to continue his training; it needs to be one with no children, cats or small furries and where he will be the only dog.  Frankie is nervous of strangers. He is very obedient and knows the basic commands of sit, stay and paw and he is fully house trained. He is excellent on the lead and walks nicely with other dogs although he isn't keen when they bark.



This is OLLIE, a Border Collie, male, approximately 8 years old. He is black & white and he is medium in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Ollie is a very friendly boy who loves everyone. He will sit nicely for a treat and he travels well. Ollie is good with other dogs.

Poppy is a lovely, sweet girl who walks well on the lead and she seems good with other dogs..."Poppy is such a lovely girl, and is ever so gentle when she comes to you for cuddles and kisses."



This is MAX, a Cocker Spaniel, male, approximately 3 years old. He is red and he is smallish in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in personal circumstances; he is currently in emergency foster. Max is a very friendly boy who is house trained, non destructive and he is good with other dogs.



This is MEG, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 8-10 years old. She is black, she has a long coat and she is small in size. She has bad skin, bald at back and base of tail and back legs for which she is receiving treatment and she had very long claws. She is in emergency foster with other dogs. Meg arrived in a very bad state and although a bit nervous she has perked up and is much happier now and she likes other dogs. "She loves being off her lead and running free in our field! But she comes back when called and is always checking to see that you are still there. She loves to be cuddled and is so quiet and clean in the house."

He has been signed over to the care of RDR and is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Milo is a sweet, friendly boy who is good with other dogs.    


This is TOFFEE, a Labrador, female, approximately 7 years old. She is chocolate and she is medium in size. She has broken skin around her rear and tail due to fleas for which she has been treated and she appears to have recently had puppies. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Toffee is a friendly, steady, good natured and well mannered girl who is good with other dogs.   



This is MONTY, a Lurcher, male, approximately 2 years old. He is black with a white muzzle and eyebrows, he has a long coat and he is large in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Monty is a very friendly, cuddly boy who knows basic commands, takes treats gently, travels well and he is good with other dogs.  



This is BUSTER, a Shih Tzu Cross, male, approximately 4 years old. He is grey and white, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Buster is a lovely, friendly boy.  


This is DORA, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 5-6 years old. She is white with brindle patches on her head and she is small to medium in size. She has an old injury on her nose. Dora is a very friendly, cuddly and steady girl who takes treats very gently and she is fine with other dogs. 



This is CASPER, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 12 months old. He is white with black spots and he is small to medium in size. Casper is a friendly, bouncy, good natured boy who is happy to be handled; he walks beautifully on the lead, loves to retrieve and give a tennis ball and he is good with other dogs.  



This is FREDDY, a Yorkshire Terrier, male, approximately 5+ years old. He is grey and tan and he is tiny in size. Freddy is a friendly, steady boy who is housetrained and he is great with other dogs.



This is LACEY, a Lurcher, female, approximately 15 months old. She is cream, she has a smooth coat and she is medium to large in size. RDR have stepped in to help her from a stray kennels in the South. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Lacey is a very friendly girl who travels well and she is good with other dogs. 



This is ANNIE, a GSD Cross, female, approximately 8 months old. She is light tan and white and she is medium to large in size. Annie is a lovely, friendly, playful girl who travels well and she is good with other dogs. 



This is ASH, a Spaniel Cross, male, approximately 12 months old  He is black, he has a long coat and he is small in size. RDR have stepped in to help him from a stray kennels in the South. Ash is a very friendly, busy boy who travels well and he seems Ok with other dogs - and he loves water!



This is DAVE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 6 years old. He is tan and white, he has short legs and he is small to medium in size. He has some old wounds on his rear and tail. Dave is a very friendly, steady boy who is good with children, other dogs, cats and rabbits. He takes treats gently and will sit enthusiastically for one.
  


This is PAPPI, a JRT/Yorkie Cross, male, approximately 12 months old. He is tan, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Pappi is a very friendly, cuddly boy who is good with other dogs; he walks well on the lead and knows basic commands - 'he's a fantastic little dog!'
 


These are ANT & DEC, Yorkshire Terriers, male, approximately 9 years old. They are tan and grey and they are very small in size; Ant is smaller than Dec. They have been signed over to the care of RDR and are currently in emergency foster. Ant and Dec are very friendly, cuddly boys who love being outside having a play together and they are Ok with cats and chickens.



This is BASIL, a Chihuahua/Pomeranian Cross, male, approximately 1-2 years old. He is tan, he has a semi coat, a curly tail and he is small in size. RDR have stepped in to help him from a stray kennels out of our usual area. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Basil is an adorable, cuddly boy who is good with other dogs and cats; he walks beautifully on the lead and appears to have good recall.



This is TILLY, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 4 years old. She is tri-coloured, she has a long coat and she is small in size. Tilly is a very friendly, cuddly girl who is happy to be handled; she knows basic commands, walks well on the lead and and she is good with other dogs.



This is BUTTONS, a Lurcher, male, approximately 6-8 months old. He is black with white markings on his face, chest and toes, he has a semi-rough coat and he is medium in size. RDR stepped in to help him from a stray kennels in the South. Buttons is a very friendly, bouncy boy who is friendly with other dogs and cats; he walks well on the lead and loves cuddles.



This is MALCOLM, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 10-12 months old. He is black and tan grizzle, he has a short, wiry coat and he is large in size. RDR have stepped in to help him from a stray kennels out of our usual area.  He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and older children. Malcolm is a friendly, very affectionate boy who is eager to learn and he is good with other dogs and cats; he is house-trained, knows several commands and is non destructive when left.  Malcolm loves company so would welcome a home where he is not left home alone for too long.



This is SALLY, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 2 years old. She is brindle with white front legs and four white paws and she is small to medium in size.  Sally is a friendly, kissy, very sweet natured girl who loves a cuddle,  travels well and takes treats gently - 'she's such a gentle, friendly girl'. She walks well on the lead and is very affectionate and inquisitive when out and about.  She's a clever girl too - she sits, lays down and gives a paw on command.  Sally would need to be the only dog in the house and is workable with other dogs.



This is ROXY, a Pug/Collie/Labrdaor Cross, female, date of birth 20th February 2016. She is black and white, she has a short coat and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR and is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Roxy is a friendly, confident, happy pup who is happy to socialise with other dogs and animals.



This is KEISHA, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 9-12 months old. She is dark brindle and she is medium in size. She has returned to the care of RDR as she is not good with cats. Keisha is a very friendly, gentle girl who loves cuddles, she knows basic commands, will play ball and retrieve and is good with other dogs...'she was so well mannered and fun to spend time with, she's a big girl that wants to please you'.



This is NELLY, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 6 months old. She is brindle with white on her neck and chest and she is small in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Nelly is a friendly, excitable puppy.



This is TOBY, a Lhasa Apso/Papillon Cross, male, approximately 9 months old. He is fawn and white and he is small in size.  He has been signed over to the care of RDR and is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Toby is a very friendly, bouncy little boy who is housetrained.



This is BOBBY, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 10 years old. He is tan and he is small to medium in size. He was treated at vets for 6 days for a severe skin condition, dehydration and being underweight before being transferred to the care of RDR. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Despite what he has been through Bobby is a pleasure; he's easy to walk, has the sweetest nature and gives lovely kisses!



This is AMBER, a Lurcher, female, approximately 16 months old. She is brindle with a white chest and she is medium in size.  Amber is a very friendly, sweet girl.  She does need to  be an only dog, but is OK to walk with others.  Amber would not be suitable to live with cats or small furries.



This is MAX, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 4 years old. He is dark tan with a black mask and he is medium in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Max is a steady and friendly boy who is very biddable, he is great with other dogs, could live with cats and walks nicely on the lead.  He has been well socialised, is house trained, travels well and loves a cuddle.
 


This is BONNIE, a Shih Tzu, female, approximately 3 years old. She is white and she is small in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs and cats. She is a lovely, lively little girl who is not nervy at all and is good with people, children, other dogs and cats. She is good to be groomed, eats well and is housetrained. She is a little more independent than Buster. Bonnie and Buster are sister and brother; we would prefer to rehome them together but will possibly split them for the right homes.



This is BUSTER, a Shih Tzu, male, approximately 3 years old. He is white and he is small in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs and cats (although he does like to chase the cats). He is a lovely, lively little boy who is not nervy at all and is good with people, children, other dogs and cats. He is good to be groomed, eats well and is housetrained. Buster is very affectionate and loyal, enjoys playing with other dogs and has excellent recall. Bonnie and Buster are sister and brother; we would prefer to rehome them together but will possibly split them for the right homes.



This is SPICE, a Terrier Cross, female, approximately 12-18 months old. She is tan, she has a wire coat and she is small in size. Her coat is clean, she has a couple of old wounds around her mouth and she is a little underweight Spice is a nice little girl, steady and friendly although a bit timid at times; she is very gentle and well mannered, she travels well and she seems fine with other dogs - 'all in all a lovely little dog, with a very sweet nature'.



This is TOBY, a Yorkshire Terrier, male, approximately 6 years old. He is black and tan and he is small in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Toby is a friendly boy who is good all round!



This is NEVE, a Lurcher, female, approximately 4-5 years old. She is white and tan and she is medium in size. She was in a bad condition when found but is now back up to weight and healthy. Neve is a beautiful girl who is very gentle and loves cuddles. 
 


This is MILLIE, a Schnauzer Cross, female, approximately 6 years old. She is grey and white and she is small in size. She arrived in poor condition so she has been bathed and clipped and is receiving veterinary treatment for an abscess in her right ear. She is underweight. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Millie is a friendly  girl who likes cuddles and she is good with other dogs and cats. 
 


This is LOKI, a Husky, female, approximately 5 years old. She is black and white and she is medium to large in size. She is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Loki is a very friendly, sweet natured and playful girl.
 


This is GYPSY, a Border Terrier Cross, female, approximately 2-3 years old. She is back and tan, she has a soft rough coat and she is small in size. Gypsy is a steady, friendly girl who rolls over for a tummy rub. 
 


This is HARVEY, a Labrador, male, approximately 1 year old. He is golden and he is medium in size. Harvey is a friendly, giddy boy who likes to bark to get your attention, he knows basic commands and he likes to play with a ball.  



This is BOSS, a French Shepherd/German Shepherd Cross, male, approximately 6 months old. He is black with brindle markings on his legs, he has a semi rough coat and he is medium to large in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Boss is a friendly and steady boy who is Ok to be handled.

Betty was rehomed and has returned to the care of RDR through no fault of her own. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Betty is a lovely, friendly, lively and very cuddly girl who is house trained and knows some basic commands and needs further training on the lead. 



This is BEAU, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 2-3 years old. He is black/brindle with a white chest and he is small to medium in size. Beau is a bouncy boy who is friendly and submissive; he walks nicely on the lead, knows sit and wait and is very gentle and affectionate.



This is DUKE, a Lurcher, male, approximately 18 months - 2 years old. He is tan and black mix, he has a semi coat and he is large in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs and children. Duke is a lovely, friendly boy who takes treats gently, gives a paw and he seems fine with other dogs.



This is MAXWELL, a Boxer Cross, male, approximately 2 years old. He is brindle with a white chest, paw and stripe on his face and he is medium to large in size. Maxwell is a friendly and steady boy who is happy to be handled; he's a very affectionate boy who loves cuddles and tummy tickles, takes treats gently and is good with other dogs and cat trainable. 
 


This is STEVIE, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 4-5 years old. He is brindle with a white chest and paws and he is small to medium in size. He arrived with  old scars as well as wounds and had an abscess for which he has recieved treatment. Stevie is a very friendly loving boy who is good with other dogs.
 


This is MORTON, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 14 weeks old. He is all white and he is currently small in size. He is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Morton is a friendly, playful puppy who knows sit, loves to follow you around and is keen to please.  .
 


This is FERGUS, a Boxer Cross, male, approximately 12-18 months old. He is red and white and he is medium in size. Fergus is a bouncy boy who is currently a bit nervous but he wants to be friends and is Ok to be handled.
 


This is TIA, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 3 years old. She is white with a brindle patch on her neck and she is small to medium in size. She has recently had pups. Tia is a good natured, steady and very friendly girl. 
 


This is LIONEL, a Yorkshire Terrier, male, approximately 4-6 years old. He is tan and grey and he is small in size. He arrived underweight with sore ears and 'home groomed'. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Lionel is a friendly boy who walks nicely on the lead and is very easy to handle. 
 


This is PENELOPE, Yorkshire Terrier, female, approximately 8-10 years old. She is tan and grey and she is tiny in size. She is in season. She only has two teeth and can only eat soft food.She is in emergency foster with other dogs and cats. Penelope has a wonderful gentle nature, sometimes a bit shy but she is happy to be handled; she is good with other dogs and walks well on the lead although she doesn't appear to be house trained she has started her training and is doing well. She is a lovely little character!
 


This is CARLY, a Rottweiler Cross, female, approximately 18-24 months old. She is brown and white and she is large in size. Carly is a friendly and steady, good natured girl who is good with other dogs.
 


This is GEORGE, a Lurcher, male, approximately 3-4 years old. He is brindle with a white chest and feet and he is large in size.  George is a nice boy who is gentle, friendly and steady.



This is SMILER, a Terrier Cross, male, approximately 1 year old. He is tri-coloured, he has a smooth coat and he is small in size. He has a lump on his ear that looks to be some sort of wart. RDR stepped in to help him. Smiler is a friendly, bouncy boy who knows sit but is in need of further training - he likes to 'smile' at people!



This is LIONEL, a Yorkshire Terrier, male, approximately 4-6 years old. He is tan and grey and he is small in size. He arrived underweight with sore ears and 'home groomed'. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Lionel is a friendly boy who walks nicely on the lead and is very easy to handle.



This is MOLLY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 12 years old. She is brindle with a white chest and she is smallish in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to the ill health of her owner; she has been in boarding kennels for a while and will remain there until a new home has been found for her. Molly is a very friendly, steady, cuddly and kissy girl who walks nicely on the lead, she is OK when walking with other dogs and she is cat workable.



This is JODIE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 3 years old. She is black with a white chest and small to medium in size.  Jodie is a friendly and good natured girl and she seems fine with other dogs. 



This is BETTY, a  Bearded Collie Cross, female, approximately 12 months old. She is grey and white and she is medium to large in size. She is very thin, has long claws, no fur from the middle of her back and has a hernia. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs and cats. Betty is very nervous at first and needs reassurance.



This is BELLA, an American Bulldog Cross, female, approximately 18 months- 2 years old. She is white in colour and she is medium in size. Bella is a lovely, friendly, quite bouncy girl who sits and takes treats very gently. We discovered that she was pregnant so she was moved to emergency foster, with another dog, to have her puppies; they were born on the 28th December.
 


This is ANGEL, a Cross Breed; mum, Bella, is an American Bulldog Cross with a wonderful temperament, dad is unknown. Female, born 28th December 2015. She is tri-coloured.
 


This is SANDY, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 4-5 months old. He is tan with a black mask, he has a short coat and he is currently small to medium in size. He is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children; he is learning what it is like to have lots of good walks, socialisation and a routine having arrived in the stray kennels a bit frightened. Sandy is a lovely, friendly pup.

This is BEAR, a Cross Breed; mum, Bella, is an American Bulldog Cross with a wonderful temperament, dad is unknown. Male, born 28th December 2015. He is tri-coloured.
  


This is NUTMEG, a Cross Breed; mum, Bella, is an American Bulldog Cross with a wonderful temperament, dad is unknown. Female, born 28th December 2015. She is dark brindle with a tiny bit of white on her head.
 


This is PANDA, a Cross Breed; mum, Bella, is an American Bulldog Cross with a wonderful temperament, dad is unknown. Female, born 28th December 2015. She is white with black eye patches. 
 


This is NANUCK, a Cross Breed; mum, Bella, is an American Bulldog Cross with a wonderful temperament, dad is unknown. Male, born 28th December 2015. He is white.  
 


This is MITZI , a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 2 years old. She is brindle and she is smallish in size. Mitzi is friendly and steady; she's a very affectionate girl who loves cuddles more than playing!
 


This is TWINKLE, a Shar Pei Cross, female, approximately 18 months old. She is tan and she is medium in size. Twinkle was found as a stray in a terrible state suffering from hypothermia and overall neglect; she spent 4 days in the vets and was then released to the care of RDR. Twinkle is a very friendly, affectionate girl; everyone who meets her falls in love!  
    


This is FERNE, a Lurcher, female, approximately 1 year old. She is brindle with a white chest and she is medium in size.  Ferne is a sweet natured, very affectionate girl who is dog friendly.
  


This is FOXY, a .Chihuahua Cross, male, approximately 18 months - 2 years old. He is tan and white, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He is currently in foster with other dogs, cats and children. Foxy is friendly boy who is happy to be handled.
  


This is BRIAN, a English Springer Spaniel, male, approximately 6 years old. He is liver and white and he is medium in size. He is a little underweight. Brian is friendly and he is Ok to be handled; he's a busy boy!

She has come into the care of RDR with her sisters and is in foster with other dogs, cats and children. Una is a lovely pup; she's 'the shy one'. 
 


This is SEBASTIAN, a Mastiff, male, approximately 8+ years old. He is red in colour and he is large in size. He is underweight. He is in foster with another dog and a cat. Sebastian is a friendly and steady boy. He is housetrained, knows basic commands and he is good with other dogs and cats.
  


This is BRUCE, a Yorkshire Terrier, male, approximately 10+ years old. He is tan and grey and he is small in size. He seems to have an eye infection, he is emaciated, and very unsteady on his back legs; he will be seeing the vet as soon as possible to ascertain whether this is a due to his bad condition. He is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Bruce is currently very tired and hungry - he is fine to be handled and he is fine with other dogs.
 


This is MARTHA, a Collie Cross, female, d.o.b approximately 05/12/15. She is black with a white chest, chin and toes, she has a smooth coat and she will be medium in size. She has come into the care of RDR with her sisters and is in foster with other dogs, cats and children. Martha is a lovely, friendly pup; she's 'the laid back one'.

She is black with a white chest, white blaze on her head, white shoulder, chin and toes, she has a smooth coat and she will be medium in size. She has come into the care of RDR with her sisters and is in foster with other dogs, cats and children. Gertie is a lovely, friendly pup; she's 'the cheeky one'.

Jimi is a friendly, good natured, happy boy. He likes to be helpful on a walk by carrying his lead! Jimi is a well mannered boy who travels well and he will shake a paw for a treat.

This is JASMINE, a Lurcher, female, approximately 3 years old. She is tan, she has a smooth coat and she is medium to large in size. She was found with a broken leg so has spent time at the vets for an operation and is now in emergency foster to recuperate. Jasmine is a lovely, friendly, gentle natured girl who is fine with other dogs and seems Ok with cats.



These are FIFI and JAZZ, Boston Terrier/Whippet Cross, female, approximately 3 years old. Jazz is black and white and Fifi is brown and white and they are smallish in size. They are sisters and have been signed over to the care of RDR. They are currently in foster with other dogs, cats and children. Fifi and Jazz are friendly girls who are good with other dogs, cats and children.



This is BULLET, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 1-2 years old. He is black with a white chest and paws and he is small to medium in size. He received treatment for colitis on the 27th August. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs. Bullet is a lovely, friendly boy who is steady and good to handle as well as fairly good on the lead; he likes a fuss too! He knows basic commands, travels well and he seems Ok with other dogs. Bullet would need to go to a cat free home.

This is JET, a Lurcher, male, approximately 18 months-2 years old. He is black with white on his chest and toes and he is medium to large in size. Jet is a bit nervous but he is gentle and friendly and he is Ok to be handled.



This is JOULES, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 18 months old. She is white with a tan patch on one ear and on the base of her tail and she is small to medium in size. Joules is friendly and happy to be handled and she seems Ok with other dogs.



This is BUDDY, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 11 weeks old (approx D.O.B. 04/07/15). He is brindle with white on his chest and he is currently small in size - we believe he will be medium to large when full grown. He is in emergency foster with other dogs, children and cats. Buddy is a lovely chunky pup who appears to have been well fed and cared for; he likes cuddles and he has already learned to sit, give paw and retrieve a tennis ball!



This is FRANKIE, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 12 months old, He is brown brindle and white and he is small to medium in size. Frankie is a lovely,friendly,bouncy boy who knows some basic commands and he is good with other dogs.



This is HERSCHEL, a Labrador, male, approximately 20 months old. He is chocolate in colour and he is medium to large in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR and is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Herschel is a friendly, well mannered boy who is good with other dogs and cats.



This is: DUDLEY, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 8 months old, He is reddish brindle with a white chest and he is small to medium in size. Poor Dudley was found tied to a bench in a park; he is very underweight. He is a gentle natured, friendly boy who is well mannered and knows basic commands and he is good with other dogs.



This is SNOWY, a Chihuahua, male, approximately 12-18 months old, He is white, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. He has luxating patellas on both back legs which may improve with muscle build up - it appears that he has never been walked. Snowy is a little bit nervous at the moment but he is ok to be handled.



This is TOYA, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 1 year old, She is brindle with a white chest and she is small to medium in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Toya is a very friendly girl who is good with other dogs and cats.



The is TILLY, a Bichon/Cavalier Cross, female, approximately 12 months old, She is white with brown tips on her ears and she is small in size. Underneath her fluffy top coat she was very dirty, matted and flea infested for which she needed to be shaved. She has an undershot jaw. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Tilly is a friendly, excitable little girl who likes children and seems fine with other dogs and cats.



This is AVA, a Staffie Cross, female, born approximately 5th September. She is dark brindle with white on her chest and she is currently small in size. Ava was found dumped and RDR were asked to step in to help her; she is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Ava is a lovely, friendly puppy.



This is JET, a Lurcher, male, approximately 5 years old, He is black with a white chest and neck, he has a smooth coat and he is medium in size. Jet is a gentle, friendly and steady boy.

This is LOLA, a Staffie/JRT Cross, female, approximately 2 years old. She is red with a white chest and neck and she is smallish in size. She is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Lola is a steady, friendly girl and she is good with other dogs and children but not with cats. She is housetrained and non destructive but doesn't like to be left for too long. She is a very bright girl who knows some commands and quickly learns new ones!



This is CLIVE, an American Bulldog, male, approximately 1-2 years old. He is white with black speckles on his ears and he is large in size; he weighs 43Kg! Clive is a nice natured boy who is happy to be handled although strong on the lead. He seems Ok with other dogs. "Clive is great, clean in his kennel and fine with other dogs..."

This is DAVE, a Border Collie, male, approximately 18 months - 2 years old.He is black and white, he has a long coat and he is medium in size. He is bald and patchy from the middle of his body right down to his rear including his legs but not his tail, due to a flea allergy that he is now on treatment for. He seems healthy in himself although underweight. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Dave is a gentle natured, friendly and affectionate boy who seems good with other dogs.



These are LOUISA & LOUIS: Louisa is a Bichon Frise, female, approximately 9 years old; she is white and she is small in size. Louis is a Yorkshire Terrier, male approximately 7 years old; he is tan and black and he is small in size. They are both a little overweight at present. They were both born in Spain, returned to the UK three years ago and have been signed over to the care of RDR because of their owner's ill health. They are currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Louisa is good with other animals and is gentle and calm around the children in her foster home; she is good on the lead with no separation issues and loves cuddles on a lap. Louis is a very friendly, affectionate little boy and is good with other dogs, cats and children. They are both very well behaved and are very bonded together, share a bed and need a home together.



This is THALIA, a Great Dane/Mastiff Cross, female, approximately 7 years old. She is tan in colour, she has a grey muzzle and she is large in size. She is a stray from another area and RDR were asked to help her. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Thalia is a friendly, steady lady; "Thalia has beautiful manners - gets along with all of our dogs and is lovely and gentle around the children. She literally smiles at you and loves everyone - she knows some commands too."



This is DONNIE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 3 years old. He is brindle and he is small to medium in size. He is in good condition. Donnie is a friendly, steady boy.

This is MIKEY, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 4-5 months old. He is fawn and grey brindle and he will be medium to large in size. Mikey wants to be friends but is currently a bit unsure and nervous - he's just a baby!

He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a change in his owner's circumstances and is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Frank is a friendly, steady boy who is good with other dogs, loves children and he seems Ok with cats. He is housetrained and well mannered indoors and he loves his ball and toys but he is very strong on the lead; he would like an owner who is familiar with his breed, or similar, and who would continue his training. He is a lovely dog to have around!



This is MOLLY, a Border Collie, female, approximately 12-18 months old. She is black and white, she has a semi coat and she is medium in size. She is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Molly is a lovely natured girl who is good with other dogs.

Val is a friendly old lady who travels well, enjoys walks and she is good with other dogs.



This is TIGGY, a Lurcher, female, approximately 2 years old. She is tan and white, she has a smooth coat and she is large in size. She is well muscled and looks well cared for. Tiggy is a friendly, gentle girl and she is good with other dogs.



This is SADIE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 12 months old. She is black brindle with white markings and paws and she is small to medium in size. She is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Sadie is a pretty girl with a sweet nature, she is good with other dogs, cats and children and she knows basic commands.



This is DAISY, a GSD Cross, female, approximately 5 years old. She is black with tan on her front legs and a long coat and she is medium in size. Daisy and Ella are sisters; their owner died recently, they were in a pack of 9 dogs and these 2 were taken in temporarily by a lady with 3 dogs. They have been signed over to the care of RDR. Daisy is a very friendly and kissy girl.

This is ELLA, a GSD Cross, female, approximately 5 years old. She is black, she has a longish coat and she is medium in size. Daisy and Ella are sisters; their owner died recently, they were in a pack of 9 dogs and these 2 were taken in temporarily by a lady with 3 dogs. They have been signed over to the care of RDR. Ella is quieter than Daisy; she is a friendly girl who walks quite well on the lead.

This is ADDISON, a Cocker Spaniel, female, approximately 12-18 months old. She is golden/red in colour and she is small to medium in size. She was found as a stray and is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Addison is a very affectionate girl who loves her food and walks. She is very good with older children, other dogs, cats and other animals. She is housetrained, non destructive when left and appears to be crate trained but is currently very vocal when travelling. She's a lovely little dog with buckets of energy!



This is PUMPKIN, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 4 years old. She is tan and white, she has a short coat and she is medium in size. She has a skin condition for which she needs treatment. Pumpkin was rehomed earlier this year but is looking for a new home due to her owners' working hours; Pumpkin becomes very stressed when left, she is not destructive but she needs a home where her family are around most of the time. Pumpkin is a very friendly, cuddly and loving girl who loves to play and go for walks; she loves everyone and is very gentle with children and we think she could live with cats. She knows basic commands and is a quick learner.

This is MARVIN , a Miniature Dachshund, male, 4 years old. He is tan and he is small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Marvin is a little timid at first but he is a friendly boy who loves cuddles and sitting on your lap. He is an energetic little dog who loves walks, he seems Ok with other dogs and cats and he is crate and house trained. Because of his size and timidity he would be unhappy with both boisterous children and dogs. He is an escape artist and will need an extremely secure garden and he will not be homed with someone who is out at work all day.



This is SID, a Cross Breed (JRT/Corgi/Staffie Cross?), male, approximately 18 months - 2 years old. He is tan and white, he has a short coat and he is small in size. He was in another stray kennels and RDR have stepped in to help him. Sid is a very friendly boy who loves cuddles and he seems Ok with other dogs.

This is BENJI, a Border Terrier Cross, male, approximately 3 years old. He is tan, he has a rough coat and he is small in size. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Benji is lovely and has his good points, however after assessment (granted it's early days) it appears that he's been through a lot and has clearly had a rough time previously. We have not seen many dogs who drop to the ground cowering with eyes closing like he does, bless him.

This is BASIL, a Jack Russell Terrier Cross, male, approximately 12 weeks old. He is tan and white, he has a rough coat and he is currently very small in size. He has been moved to the care of RDR and is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. He is good with dogs, cats and older children. Basil is a very friendly pup but he is a typical terrier who does like to get his own way and he will need a home with someone who has experience of terriers.



This is BERYL, a Lurcher, female, approximately 5-6 years old. She is tan with white on her chest and she is large in size. She has a chunk missing from her nose. Beryl is a sweet, friendly girl; she takes treats gently, walks well on the lead and is good with other dogs but not with livestock and small furries.

This is BEN, a Lurcher, male, born 14th August 2014. He is blue with a white stripe on his face and white on his toes, he has a smooth coat and he is currently small to medium in size. He has been moved to the care of RDR and is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Ben is a very friendly boy, a little timid at first but then likes lots of cuddles. He is very good with other dogs, fine with cats and very gentle and loving with children.



This is ROXY, a Beagle, female, approximately 9 months old. She is tri-coloured and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR and is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Roxy is a lovely, friendly girl who is house trained and is good with other dogs and she seems Ok with cats too.



This is ELSIE, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 18 months old. She is dark brindle with white on her chest, head and front legs and she is medium in size. Her feet are splayed and her nails are very long. Elsie is a friendly, good natured, bouncy girl.



This is LEILA, a Springer Spaniel/Retriever/GSD Cross, female, born 15th February 2015. She is black and she is currently small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR and is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Leila is a lovely, friendly puppy.

He was found as a stray, his owners came forward but didn't want him back so signed him over to the care of RDR. Bailey is a friendly, steady boy; he knows basic commands and is good with other dogs and children.



This is MICKY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 3-4 years old. He is tan with a black muzzle and a white chest and he is small to medium in size. Micky is a friendly, steady boy.

This is SKYE, a Boxer/Bulldog Cross, female, approximately 6 years old. She is white with brindle patches and she is medium in size. She has very few teeth and is possibly the mother of Isla. Skye is a friendly girl.

Zena is a very friendly, loving girl; she has lived with young children and adores them, she has lived happily with another dog but has had no contact with other dogs and she is not cat friendly.

This is SOLO, a Bull breed cross, male, born on the 22nd December 2014. He is dark brindle with white on his chest and paws, he has a smooth coat and he is currently small in size. He was the only one in his litter, his young mum was becoming a bit rough with him so it was decided to separate them and RDR stepped in to help him; he is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Solo is a lovely, friendly, tubby boy who loves cuddles, playing and sleeping!



This is TESS, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 6 months old. She is tan, she has a smooth coat and she is small to medium in size. She was taken to a vet in November with head and leg injuries and was in foster, RDR were asked to step in to help her; she is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Tess is a lovely, friendly girl who knows basic commands and is good with other dogs, cats and children.



This is ISLA, a Bulldog Cross, females, approximately 2-3 years old. She is white with brindle patches and she is medium in size. Isla is Ok with people.

RDR offered to help her; she has been used as a puppy mill. She is in emergency foster with other dogs and cats. Sky is understandably nervous at present; she is a friendly girl who seems mostly Ok with other dogs and she is fine with cats. She walks well on the lead and travels well.



This is LADY JANE, a JRT/Papillon Cross, female, one year and one month old. She is tri-coloured, she has a long coat and she is very small in size. She was booked in to be put to sleep at the vets who asked RDR to help her. She is currently quite nervous but she is very loving and sweet girl.



This is ROLO, a Cross Breed, male, born on the 14th October 2014. He is chocolate and caramel, he has a smooth coat and he is currently smallish in size; he is expected to grow to be a big dog. He was found as a stray and RDR stepped in to help him; he is in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children. Rolo is a lovely, friendly pup.



This is LUCY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, approximately 10+ years old. She is brindle with a grey muzzle and she is smallish in size. Lucy is a friendly girl; she was found with another dog in the area of an empty house and they are thought to have been abandoned. She likes cuddles and walks and is quite active for her age.

RDR were asked to provide rescue back up by his fosterer. He is in emergency foster with children, dogs and cats. Milo is a lovely friendly, cuddly, playful puppy; he is nearly house trained, he knows basic commands and he is good on the lead.



This is DOT, a German Shepherd Cross (reputably full GSD), female, born on Tuesday 28th October 2014. She is currently black in colour and she is very small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to her mother needing to be put to sleep shortly after the puppies' birth. She is in emergency foster.



This is BADGER, a SealyhamTerrier/JRT Cross, male, approximately 5 years old. He is tri-coloured, he has a rough coat and he is small to medium in size. He is blind in his left eye. Badger is a friendly boy; he is currently in emergency foster with children, dogs and cats.



This is MAISY, a Border Collie, female, approximately 12 months old. She is tri-coloured, she has a long coat and she is a small medium size. Maisy was very fearful but she is growing in confidence; she is a friendly girl and she seems fine with other dogs.

He is in emergency foster with children, dogs and cats. Toby is a lovely, friendly boy; he is good on and off lead, he knows basic commands, he is house trained, is non-destructive and he is fine with other dogs although he can be a bit nervous of bigger, clumsy ones.

Betty is a very friendly, playful girl; she has lived with children, she is fine with other dogs and she is Ok with cats. She needs basic training but she is bright and eager to please and loves cuddles. She is currently in emergency foster with children, dogs and cats.

She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to her owner's long working hours; she is not destructive but is not happy to be left alone and barks a lot. She is groomed but is overweight. Lottie is a very friendly girl; she is good with children and she has previously lived with other dogs.



This is SASKA, a Husky, female, approximately 10-12 months old. She is black, grey and white and she is medium in size. She is underweight. Saska is a friendly girl although a bit nervous at present.



This is SALLY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 9-10 months old. She is white with brindle patches and she is small to medium in size. Sally is a very friendly and happy to be handled and cuddled - she's a real little sweetie!.

This is BRODY, a Border Collie/Lurcher, male, approximately 10 weeks old. He is tri-coloured, he has a smooth coat and he is currently small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR. Brody is friendly pup who is in emergency foster with other dogs and children.



This is SAMSON, an American Bulldog, male, approximately 12 months old. He is white and he is medium to large in size. He was at risk of being pts in a Northern pound and RDR stepped in to save him. Samson is a friendly boy who is happy to be handled; he is strong on the lead and in need of basic training.



This is EVIE, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 6 months old. She is black and tan and she is currently small to medium in size. Evie is a sweet puppy. She was rescued and RDR were asked to help her; she was rehomed earlier this year but has returned due to a change in her owner's circumstances. Evie is in foster with other dogs.




This is ROCKY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 12-18 months old. He is brindle and white and he is small to medium in size. Rocky is a friendly, bouncy boy.



This is TIMMY, a Patterdale Terrier, male, approximately 8 years old. He is black, he has a rough coat and he is smallish in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to the ill health of his owner who is paying for his boarding. Timmy is friendly, quite steady boy who seems Ok with other dogs.



This is LINCOLN, a German Shepherd, male, approximately 5-6 years old. He is black and tan and he is medium in size. He has been completely neglected - he is emaciated, his teeth are smashed (although what he has left are clean) and he has skin and ear infections for which he is now receiving veterinary treatment. RDR were asked to help him, he is now in foster with other dogs, children and cats.




This is ROSIE LEA, Jack Russell Terrier, female, approximately 4 years old. She is white and tan and she is small in size. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to her disabled owner's change in accommodation. Rosie Lea is a friendly, loving girl; she is used to children over the age of 6 and she is not cat friendly.



This is CARA, an American Bulldog, female, approximately 6-7 years old. She is white and she is large in size. Cara is friendly and steady and she is good with other dogs.

Watson is good with children, he seems Ok with other dogs and he is a very friendly boy; when he arrived he was terrified of men but he is overcoming his fears now.

He is black with a white fleck on his chest and very faint brindle on his legs, he has a smooth coat and he is small to medium in size. Jethro is a very friendly, bouncy boy and he is happy to be handled. He is good with other dogs and cats. He is currently in foster with other dogs, cats and children and small furries.



This is PATCH, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 5 months old. He is white with brown markings, he has lovely green eyes and he is currently small to medium in size. Patch is a lovely, friendly puppy; he is gentle and calm during cuddles, loves to carry anything around with him and is confident with the others.

This is OLLIE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 5 years old. He is white with a few black freckles and black ears and he is small to medium in size. He was found with Stan. Ollie is a good natured, friendly and steady boy and he is fine with other dogs.

DeeJay is in very poor condition, he has hardly any hair on his body and legs, thickened skin which is quite extreme at the base of his ears and his nails are so overgrown he has difficulty in walking; he is now receiving veterinary treatment for his skin complaint and has had his toenails clipped - he is now more comfortable, eating well and is happy to be handled. He is currently in emergency foster with other dogs, cats and children.

She has been signed over to the care of RDR and is currently in foster with other dogs. Ellie is a lovely, friendly puppy; she is very confident and playful.



This is BESS, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 4-5 years old. She is white and she is medium in size. Bess is a very friendly, steady and quiet girl; she loves going for walks, she is house trained and knows basic commands - she loves cuddles and will sit and give a paw. Bess was rehomed by RDR in 2013 but sadly needs a new home due to her owner's ill health.



This is CHARLIE, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, male, approximately 6 years old. He is ruby and white and he is small in size. He has been clipped. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to an allergy in the family. Charlie is good with other dogs and children, he is housetrained and used to travelling in the car; he is a very friendly boy who loves to play and go for walks.



This is JACK, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 15 weeks old. He is white with black markings and he is currently small in size. He has been signed over to the care of RDR and is currently in foster with other dogs. Jack is a lovely, friendly puppy; he shouts for a cuddle, he loves water and toys and playing with his siblings.

Pumpkin is a very friendly, cuddly and loving girl who loves to play and go for walks. Pumpkin is very affectionate and she is good with children.

This is DAVE, a Rottweiler, male, approximately 1-2 years old. He is black and tan and he is large in size. He has a flea allergy for which he has now been treated and pressure sores near his tail which will heal in time. He was a stray in a Northern pound and RDR offered to help him. Dave is a lovely, gentle, friendly boy who sits on command, is very well behaved and he seems fine with other dogs.



This is TIMMY, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, male, approximately 4 years old. He is ruby and white and he is small in size. He is a bit overweight and his coat is a bit dirty and matted. He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to his elderly owner's ill health. Timmy is friendly and has led a very sheltered life as a companion to his elderly owner.

Magic is a lovely, friendly puppy; she is confident girl who loves cuddles and racing in the garden with a ball.

She has bald, sore patches on her back, caused by a flea allergy for which she is receiving treatment. Trixie is a friendly and quiet girl who is good with other dogs and cats.

This is TED, a Cross Breed, 9 weeks old. Ted, male, is tricoloured. One of three puppies who have been signed over to the care of RDR and are in a foster home with other dogs, cats and children. They are gorgeous pups; Tilly is the feisty one, Ted is the chubby one and Tinker is a shy little boy.



This is CLAUDE, a Bichon Frise, male, approximately 16 weeks old. He is white and very small in size. He has clicky joints and co-ordination problems. Claude is a lovely pup who has been signed over to the care of RDR; he is currently in a very experienced foster home with other dogs, children and cats. The vet thinks that he has weak muscles and lack of muscle for which he will be receiving dietary treatment, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy. He may always be weak but should be able to live a normal life.



This is JOHNNIE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 2-3 years old. He is white with black spots on his ears and he is small to medium in size. He is well muscled but slightly underweight. Johnnie is friendly and steady - he likes a fuss and a cuddle!



This is TANGO, a Staffie Cross, male, approximately 1-2 years old. He is tan with a white stripe on his face, a white chest and paws and tip of his tail and he is medium in size. He is very underweight at the moment after roaming the streets for some time. Tango was losing weight in kennels through stress so he has moved into foster; he is slowly getting used to the other dogs and he's great with the cats! He's a lovely boy, very well mannered, spotless in the house and he loves his walks and cuddles.

This is DEREK, a Ridgeback Cross, male, approximately 10-12 months old. He is brindle with a white stripe on his chest and a distinctive ridge down his back, he has a smooth coat and a full tail and he is medium in size. Derek is a friendly boy and he is good with other dogs.



This is TERRY, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 12 months old. He is black with a white bib and paw and he is small to medium in size. Terry is a nice friendly boy who is quiet and steady.



This is HONEY, a Husky Cross, female, approximately 7 months old. She is golden with a black mask, she has a short coat and she is small to medium in size.  Honey is a very friendly girl; she is housetrained, knows basic commands, travels well, she is good with children and she is good with other dogs. She has been signed over to the care of RDR due to her owner's illness.



This is JASPER, a Sharpei Cross, male, approximately 12-18 months old. He is brown with some grey hairs round his shoulders and he is medium in size. Poor Jasper was very frightened and nervous. Jasper has moved into an emergency foster home and is settling well; he is good with other dogs and cats.

This is TED, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 12-18 months old. He is brindle, he has a short coat and he is medium in size. Ted is a very friendly, nice natured and steady boy.



This is TINA, a Ridgeback Cross, female, approximately 4 years old. She is tan, she has a short coat with a ridge down her back and she is medium in size. She was signed over to another pound due to a relationship breakdown, she was at risk of being pts and RDR were asked to help save her. Tina is a lovely girl although nervous of her current situation and she has previously lived with another dog.

This is CHESTER, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 12 months old. He is tan with white on his chest and face, he has a short coat and he is small to medium in size. He was found tied to a skip, he was at risk of being pts in a Southern pound and RDR offered to help to save him. Chester is a very friendly boy although currently nervous of men and he seems Ok with other dogs.



This is COPPER, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 4 years old. She is tan with a white patch on her chest and she is small to medium in size. She has recently had a litter and is still lactating - she is in a good condition despite this. Copper is really kissy and cuddly - she loves belly rubs too especially if you include a raspberry too! She seems good with other dogs and travels well.

This is DIEGO, an Akita/Husky Cross, male, approximately 2 years old. He is white and he is medium to large in size. Diego is a very friendly, steady boy who travels well and is fine with other dogs - he's stunning! He is good with older children and cats, he is house trained and knows all the basic commands - and he loves soft toys! He will be returning to the care of RDR due to a change in personal circumstances.

This is JUDY, a Staffie Cross, female, approximately 3 years old. She is white with some black patches and she is small to medium in size. Judy is a friendly and steady girl who is very well trained. She has a really sweet and cuddly personality.

This is PONGO, a Dalmation, male, approximately 7 years old. He is white with black markings and he is large in size.  He is very thin and full of sores. Pongo is good with children and with other dogs and cats. He is not destructive, he is house trained and he is calm and well behaved, he sits and gives a paw. He loves walks and cuddles and he smiles!! He has been signed over to the care of RDR due to the illness of a member of the family.



This is SNOOP , a Cross Breed, male, approximately 12-15 months old. He is brown with white on his chest, he has a long coat and he is small in size. He is thin and his coat is knotted. Snoop was very poorly when he came in with suspected vestibular syndrome and spent some time at the vets. He is back at his foster now with medication and is continuing to improve and is much happier - his playful side is starting to come out!

This is HOLLY, a Golden Retriever, female, approximately 7 years old. She is golden, she has a long coat and she is medium to large in size. She has a bald patch on her nose possibly from rubbing it. Holly is a very friendly, steady girl and she is good with children, good with other dogs and she seems Ok with cats. She is house trained, not destructive, doesn't like the washing machine, is good in car and good on lead - she's a wonderful girl! She has been signed over into our care due to the baby in the family being allergic to her.



This is ROLO, a Shar Pei, male, approximately 2 years old. He is fawn in colour and medium in size. Rolo is good with children and other dogs, is house-trained and not destructive when left. He walks well on the lead and travels well. He has been with his previous owner since a pup but has been signed over into our care due to a change in family circumstances.

This is: LEXI , a Jack Russell x Border Terrier, female, approximately 9 months old. She is black and tan in colour and she is small in size. Lexi is good with other dogs, cats and children. She travels well, has a good recall and walks nicely on the lead. She is a happy and confident little girl who likes to play (with socks being one of her favourite things!). She has been signed over into our care due to a change in her families working hours.



This is TANZIE, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, approximately 2-3 years old. She is brindle with white on her chest and she is small to medium in size. Tanzie is a friendly, steady girl.



These are CHARLIE & BAILEY, Bichon Frise, male, Charlie is 5 years old, Bailey is 18months old. They are white and small in size. They are both very thin. Charlie and Bailey are friendly and affectionate and they are good with children, other dogs and cats.



This is HONEY, a Shar Pei Cross, female, approximately 2 years old. She is tan and she is a small medium size. She has been operated on for the entropion in both eyes and she will receive veterinary care until she is fully recovered. Honey is a very friendly, lovely, steady girl.

This is BARNEY, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 2-3 years old. He is black and tan and he is large in size. Barney is a very friendly, steady boy who is good with other dogs. He walks beautifully on the lead and is clean in his kennel. He was found tied up outside an empty house.



This is MINDY, an English Bull Terrier Cross, female, approximately 4-5 years old. She is white and she is small to medium in size. She has been suffering from dry eye for which she has received medication and should make a full recovery. Mindy is a lovely friendly girl and she seems Ok with other dogs.

This is JOE, a Cross Breed, male, approximately 12-18 months old. He is black and grey with tan legs, he has a rough coat and he is small to medium in size. Joe is friendly although a bit nervous at present.



This is ODIN, a German Shepherd, male, approximately 14-15 months old. He is black and tan, he has a standard coat and he is medium to large in size. Odin is very friendly and quite well trained and he is good with other dogs. Odin has been signed over to the care of RDR due to a bereavement.

This is PATCH, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, male, approximately 6 months old. He is white with a black patch over his right eye and he is small to medium in size. Patch is a lovely natured pup - he is very friendly and he is good with other dogs.



This is HENRY, a Jack Russell Terrier, male, approximately 16 months old. He is tri-coloured, he has a rough coat and he is small in size. Henry is very friendly and he is good with children and other dogs. He knows basic commands, has good recall and is good on the lead, he is crate trained and he is a good traveller. Henry had been signed over to the care of RDR.



This is MITZI, a Cross Breed, female, approximately 2 years old. She is white with cream points, she has a long coat which was very dirty and matted and she is small in size. Mitzi is a friendly, steady girl.



This is ROVERS, a Jack Russell Terrier, male, approximately 2-3 years old. He is white with tan patches, he has a smooth coat and he is small in size. Rovers is very friendly and quite bouncy; he is good with children and with other dogs. He is non destructive when left and he is good on the lead - he loves long walks! Rovers had been signed over to the care of RDR due to his owner's ill health.
